Great camping along the river. The water was up and for the first time in 30 years of going tubing here we didnt hit a single rock. That said, it was also the first time we had other campers put in spots right next to our camp in spots that arent advertised and were made just this year. Seems a little sketchy at best. Still sharing the same toilets, river access and parking - things just got a little more crowded and made Jess Judy less appealing. If we had wanted to camp right on top of other people we would have opted for the facilities just up the road at Big Bend.

Great time as always despite low water, excessive heat and flies like no time in the past 25 years. Campsites seem to be shrinking, but camp managers are friendly and helpful.

Jess Judy is a wonderful location for large groups-we have fun tubing, kayaking, swimming, fishing, star watching. We love it!

Nice open area along the south fork of the south branch of the Potomac River. Beautiful area. Nice hike up nearby Eagle Rock.

We had a blast tubing the river from Jess Judy to the parking lot at Big Bend. The loop took about 2.5 hours. Perfect for a morning float, lunch break and afternoon float. Bring extra tubes, some of the rocks are sharp. We are working on planing our next trip now, cannot wait to go back.
