Our site was not level enough to leave our trailer hooked up (to the motorhome). Sloped in before flattening out. However, campground was good, everything was operational. The Mingo U.S. Wildlife Preserve is worth the time.

Bob was friendly and helpful, we only spent one night but the restrooms were clean. The water level was too high to exit so we had to turn around but Bob showed us where to do so.

Good, clean and quiet. Lake was a bit high and some boat ramps were closed but still was a good experience. We'll be back.

We stayed on Site #44, which was fairly level, slightly lower on the drivers side. Decent amount of shade

The fishing was great, and the locals were even better! We really enjoyed our time at Peoples Creek and look forward to visiting again. Our site, #44, was in the Upper Park which is fhu.

Its a very quiet campground with a steep entrance and exit. There are many shaded sites with nice tables and fire pits. The location is close to several marinas if you want to spend a day on the lake. When we were there, the Greenville Days event was in progress and we chose to go there for a day. We rode the stage coach, browsed the craft tents, listened to nice blue grass music and ate some delicious BBQ.

Beautiful location, the sites were back in and narrow up or down hill. They were all paved as was the patio area. Hookups were usable but you had to go slow as they were on the down slop slide of the camper. Exiting was very step down hill with a shape curve. A long RV rear overhang could possibly drag. Our 37' 5th wheel was close but did not drag. We did not use the bathhouse but it was clean and in great condition. With these comments we still very much enjoyed our overnight stay and would stay here again.

Enjoyed it very much as we do every visit. Clean, week kept, friendly staff.

The fire pits should not be in the middle of the place you are camping. The spot was too small. Most of the campsites are too close together.

Beautiful CG on the lake. We love ACOE parks and stay at them whenever we can. The roads through the camp were pretty sloping, but once parked, the site was pretty level. To exit, you have to drive down by the lake-pretty steep-and back up again. Lots of mature trees. The bath house was nice--combo shower/toilet rooms. Stainless fixtures are easy to keep clean. I did not use the shower but my husband said the water was nice and hot, and there was a heater in the room. Looks like they are working on connecting walking/biking paths between the different areas, and one part was under water due to recent rain. Poplar Bluff was an easy drive to stores, and there was a nice convenience store/gas station within walking distance, and a food truck. Nice area to hang out for a couple of days.

Have stayed here twice now. Great campground. Stayed in a 33 motorhome with toad and had plenty of space.

Full hook up was great and there was a nice view of the lake. It was a bit tricky to find the campground at night but thats more of a GPS and signage issue. Overall very nice.

Only complaints is that it's not ADA compatible and all the sites seem to be set up backwards away from the lake view

The campground was well maintained, including the shower house. The sites are close together but it's a small loop. The lake is beautiful and there are many places to hike within a half hour drive. The price is very reasonable for the amenities - electric, sewer, water, and a restroom/shower house. We enjoyed our stay.

We like the full hook ups and places to walk/ride your bike. It's quiet, but not too far from Poplar Bluff.

We were very pleased with our preseason camping experience. The lake had one campground open and we were delighted with the whole experience. The lake is pretty and although it rained some of the time we were there we were able to get out and go for some walks. Showers were clean and water was hot. I especially liked the hand sprayer that was there in addition to the main shower nozzle. A bargain at our senior discount card of $12.00 for full hookup, including sewer.

Nice area, highway can be a little noisy, but not too bad. Campground was nice (no gate shack so we parked in our site and the host came to us that evening).
