We have been coming to this Campground for 27 years, great place! We were notified this year of a rule being enforced prohibiting services to be provided on core property. In this case setting up a rented camper. The last 15 years we have rented a camper to be setup for us when we get there because we pull a boat across multiple state lines from home. We paid for the site ourselves. We paid for the rental online and not on core property. Shutting down this service for those who don't have the means or experience is taking away from the ability to experience the wonderful joys of camping. What about the services that happen on a regular basis in the grounds? A/C service on trailers, locksmiths, boat repair, boat sales and test drives to name a few. We have witnessed many. I hope a solution is made. Also, this policy is not noted at all on recreation.gov. Nice to know before you get there.

Site 16. From the first night, seed ticks and chiggers were very plentiful. Sitting in the high grass, my wife found ticks and my ankles were attacked by chiggers.Talked to attendants at the gate and was told they also had that issue and had to spray their site. Grass was high.We bought spray and used two large cans.Spent a night at home, hoping to have a change when came back. Better for 3 days, had some rain and back to insect issues.Finally left a day early- just tired of getting bites.

It was a beautiful and clean area. The people are friendly and it was close to the Branson action. It was wonderful!

There were several prime spots down by the lake. My campsite was quite a ways from the lake and the beauty of the campground. Not knowing the layout of the camp I did not ask for a specific site. I wish the person I reserved with would have looked for the site closest to the water as with the other reservations that I’ve made. They’re always great places, spacious and beautiful, but the prime places are by the water. I am not unhappy with the reservation but since there were so many sites available, I would’ve preferred to be by the water.

We have visited Aunts Creek annually over the past 20+ years. It's very well situated in a wooded area, easy access to the lake and has a good swim beach. The Corp ensures that the campsites are maintained and they have made some improvements over the years.
