I really enjoyed our stay there. I love that the sites around ours were staggered so everyone could enjoy a lake view from their fire ring. I would give it 5 stars but I have small dogs and we ran into grass burrs in the grassy areas anround our site and on the crest of the hill above the swim beach. Those were very painful for my dogs and myself as I had to remove the burrs from their feet. Otherwise, the park was clean, very well kept. The bath houses were clean and tidy. Park hosts were really friendly too. That made for an enjoyable stay once we kept the dog walking to the gravel campsite and paved road areas.

The park is excellent but checking in was almost impossible because the camp host was seldom around.

I was in #76. It poured rain all night, the pad is in dire need of more gravel. We had enough outdoor rugs to keep the mud out at least. The other draw backs are, the walnut trees, dropping walnuts on the camper, which you needn't worry about, earlier in the season. The park is beautiful, we had a great view of the lake and swim beach, with several beautiful birds, Eagles, Great Blue Herons, Osprey, and others The best spots for shade are #73, 72, 71,70, if you're on that side of the road. The swim beach is also very nice, and roped off. I had a great time, and would like to return. I wish I could post pictures.

I grew up camping here and now for the last 15 years I have had the luck to take my family here as well... Great Swim Beach and fishing.. Its super quiet and kid friendly..
