The water and location were great.

Campground used to be nice with showers and bathrooms. But now it is all dirt and sand to camp on. Little bit of rain equals mud. Campsites are to close to each other. Flood last year messed up the main bathroom and several sites that are out of commission. Electric sites need to be added for RVs. And there should be a host on site at all times to prevent parents from letting their young kids go around strobe lighting the other campsites.

Online reservations went smoothly. A flood last fall damaged the main building. The shower house was further from some campsites. Nats were a problem until we got a fire going.

Such a great experience. The organization of the campground and the overall cleanliness is outstanding. We will use this campground again and again.

This was the first time I camped at Pulltite since it changed to reservation only. It is my favorite campground in that area. When I reserved my site all the o es I had written down as my favorites were already reserved. I chose one at random and luckily there was no one on either side of us. It would have been much too close if those sites had been occupied. Also, several of the sites I had originally wanted were vacant the entire time we were there. I dont know if there was a glitch in the system or no shows but it was rather disappointing. We took extreme precautions with food storage due to the racoon problem and we were successful. Nice to know I can outsmart a raccoon. Overall, we had a good experience. The campground was not crowded so our site was ok. I would like to see a return to some first come first served sites and also the separation of some sites. We were on #17 and that entire little row of sites are entirely too close. Fortunately, we only had neighbors on one side and were separated by an empty campsite. I think most people who tent camp would agree that they do not want to listen to their neighbor snoring, which we did. As always, Pultite was clean, beautiful and a very good time.

It's such a scenic and beautiful campground. Facilities and staff are top notch. Had a great time.

This campsite is always a great stay. Staff and camp hosts are always kind and helpful. The only downside was that I wasn't aware the main shower/bathrooms were out of service due to the flooding. It's likely that I could have researched further to discover that, however it would be great if recreation.gov would provide a notice to those who have booked camp sites. Other than that small detail it's a perfect camp site!

camp ground was clean and very open. even thou one of the main showers and restrooms were out of order, we found the working one adequate. understandable that there was now wide spread wi-fi, checking in for the first time online was a little challenging, but i got thru it. now that i am registered, it will be easier the next time. The sign for the web sight should be closer to the entrance. I missed it. The only DOWNSIDE was that in 3 days, I saw the camp host only once when he was helping another camper, then he never stopped to see if everything was OK. Will come back to this camp site again.

The campground is about half recovered from last years epic flood. Looking forward to the remaining campsites opening and the main bathrooms and showers opening. The raccoons have become progressively worse over the past few years. Not only do they now seem to be very comfortable working in pairs and walking into the campsite while people are sitting around the fire, they broke into a Yeti bear-proof cooler in the middle of the night and stole our snacks for the next days float.

Nice shaded campsites, relatively level places to pitch tents. Raccoons! Not afraid of people and steal food.

Our group of about a dozen guys were grateful that the campground was able to open this year after last falls epic flood. The main bathroom was not yet open, and several of our regular campsites were reseeded and awaiting a future re-opening, but there were ample other campsites available and two other bathrooms, one with showers.

We enjoyed our time at Pulltite. The site, bathrooms, and showers were all clean and well maintained. We plan to return someday with the entire family.

campsites need updating... power, water, wifi, and some minor trimming and cleanup around the campground could make this place 10x better!

The park is a gem. I like the fact that there are no electrical hookups, although a large trailer hauling its own generator set up camp directly opposite me. Fortunately its generator was not too loud. Be sure to wade the river to see Pulltite Spring on the other side. It's not to be missed. The camp store was a welcome convenience and the Starlink internet connection near it was great to have in an area where there is no cellphone service. I saw a number of animals including a fawn and raccoons. At night in my tent, I heard not only frogs in the river but something producing an unusual clicking sound that I've never heard before in 50+ years of camping in the Ozarks. Wish I knew was it was. I have only one knock: The water in the shower houses was not adjustable and set at a fairly hot temperature. After a day of 95-degree weather, I would have appreciated some cooler water.

Great place to camp. Staff was awesome. Highly recommend the Akers to Pulltite float trip. Works great to float right to the campsite at the end of your trip. Ya can't beat it.

Pulltite campground is our favorite place to camp. The campground host is so very friendly and pleasant to visit with. It was a wonderful experience

The restrooms and showers closest to our campsite were closed. It would have been nice if we were informed of these when we made our reservation.

I was a bit apprehensive about this season, as it followed the catastrophic flooding from last year. I was SO glad that the Pulltite store was reopened, as that is the greatest draw for choosing this camping location. Having less showers available also worried me, but it wasn't a problem. The racoons that normally visit in the evenings were much fewer, and I suppose many were wiped out in the flooding as well. I'm sure their numbers will increase over the coming seasons.

The camp host was fantastic. Heavy rains had left our site a muddy mess and he rearranged us into a dry site without us even asking. Thanks so much!

The park rangers were so helpful as we floated our way down river. The launch area is very nice and has a large area to pull vessels over and swim. We stayed at group site 1. The trail to the river where we banked our 19 vessels was a mud slide but we made it work. The grounds were well kept and beautiful. There are many raccoons that will visit your camp.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
