This spot is one of the best electric sites we have stayed at. Its flat and partly shaded. Easy access and the area is very peaceful. We really enjoy being close to the beach.

Firstly, this is a campground and looo weve been camping at for 20 years now. Weve always loved it. This last stay though was not enjoyable. We ended up having a neighbor with a camper and industrial size generator that was extremely loud. This thing ran all day and all night long. It was so loud we couldnt even hear each other talk. Couldnt sleep either. As its supposed to be a primitive loop quiet time is 10pm and generators are supposed to be prohibited after 10pm. As the attendants were never once seen driving around checking on things we ended up having to call the sheriff to deal with it. We hated being those people. Bathrooms were never attended to and the shower houses were nothing less than disgusting. Sadly I dont think well be returning as we felt we were camping amongst unsupervised drunken toddlers. Our last morning we woke up to our other neighbors screaming profanities at one another. The marina all the way across the lake heard this and ended up calling the law. Still never once seen the attendants.

Good spot, able to fit one large and one medium tent on level grass. Campsite faculties are clean and spacious. Very great location with enough room between sites

Very good camping experience except for a neighbor that kept bright lights on 24/7.

Update your shower housesThe concrete structures are so hot by afternoon you can barely stay in there 10 minutesThe only nice thing about it, your hot water is always cold . Spending the week in Arkansas camping you should come down here and try to learn something. Cameras would also be nice to try to cut down on the homeless people using the showers.

The pads are very level and far apart. Being a small site keeps the traffic and noise to a minimal. Access to the water is non-existence which keeps the availability easy.

I like the space between campsites on the A loop. The water is close by. I do wisth there was a shower house on the A loop. We have T-Mobile, good coverage. The sites are big and leval. The concrete picnic tables are not a good design for sitting at. We use it as a cooking table. The camp hosts are nice. We see the camp host, rangers, sheriff patrol often. We have never felt in danger here.

Great campground

Love pad #15! However, it could use a little more gravel towards the front of the pad. There is a big dirt area that when it rains, it gets very muddy! If they could just put some gravel over that area, it would be great! (I think the picnic table is sitting there now but could have been moved since we were there). The only disadvantage, a couple of them, is there is no place to pull up a boat to shore and no way to get down to the lake if you just want to swim. If there was a pathway down to the water in one of the less steep areas, it would be doable for us older folks to get to the water. Thank you for your consideration.

This is a great park with a perfect little beach area. My site was level and close to the bathrooms. I had a beautiful view of the lake. There are many trees to shade the sites. I was in loop B, so I did need to take a short drive to the beach, but well worth it. I was here during the week and it was very peaceful and the beach had maybe 25 people the entire time I was there.

There was no cell signal at the site.

We kayaked the beautiful lake. Great day on the water. We did not fish, but others were catching a variety of fish. Nice boat ramp. Campground was nice. Bathrooms were clean. My only complaint was the shower drain was very slow to drain. We stayed in site B02 North. Nice spacious site and close to the lake.

The site was easy to get into/out of and it was very large. The area was peaceful and beautiful. Don't expect a lot of internet service. Bathrooms were close by and fairly clean, bring your own soap. I look forward to visiting again in the near future.

Bathrooms were not cleaned at all. Everything else was great.

Love Stockton and Orleans Trail. The only reason I couldnt give 5 stars is because 2 of the 4 shower houses were out of of service on the Saturday of a busy holiday weekend and never fixed. This was hard on everyone since both A and B loop and use this shower which is in an electric only campground. Many people dint have a way to haul water etc needed to take showers in their own camper.

We had a great time on our camping trip. The camp host was great and the bathroom facilities was always freshly cleaned every time we used it. We caught fish and relaxed which was exactly what we were after.

I have recently retired and have had the opportunity to do some extensive traveling this summer in a vehicle I've converted into a mini RV and I have stayed at dozens of campgrounds. The camping registration/reservation process varies quite a bit from place to place. Some campgrounds provide registration with a self-pay fee station. Some campgrounds allow you to select a campsite and a campground host comes around to collect camping fees. Some campgrounds have entrance stations with an attendant. Others, such as Orleans Trail in Missouri, require online reservations. Orleans Trail also has an entrance station which was closed the day I visited. Online registration is OK if you have a cellular signal and a set travel itinerary. My travels were far less formal, stopping often to visit sites I found interesting along my travel route. Depending on weather, traffic and road conditions etc. I was never certain where I would stop for the day. I would consult my road atlas in the afternoon and then decide on an available campground. Unfortunately, it was often difficult to know how to make reservations for any particular campground. When I arrived at Orleans Trail the camping fees were clearly posted with instructions to pay at the entrance station. Because the entrance station was closed I decided to come back in the morning to pay for my campsite. After dark, I was inside my vehicle getting ready to go to sleep when I got a knock on the door by a Park Ranger. He proceeded to tell me I wasn't allowed to camp without a reservation. After hearing my situation he told me that it would be OK to pay in the morning. Why isn't registration information clearly posted at the park entrance or at the entrance station? The registration process could be better. Orleans Trail has a lot of tree covered campsites with picnic tables and fire rings - I was the only camper in the loop I was in and the rest rooms were clean. If in the area I would stay at Orleans Trail again.

Loved the stay at Orleans Trail. I love staying at COE campgrounds. I wish somebody would install exhaust fans in the shower houses to get rid of some of the heat there. Suggestion! Wet with sweat before one can dry off, get dressed, and out the door.

Overall the experience was good, but the weeds around the campsite were quite tall.

Nice level site. Walk to beach. Not much shade on site. Quiet camping area.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
