Site 16 was fantastic. Lots of shade, sound of the creek, away from other sites. Gorgeous views with amazing wildflowers. Took 1 star off because there is no camp host (on site firewood sales). Wood must be purchased at the Clark Store about 30 minutes away. Would have been nice to know before we arrived at our site.

Managers not keeping up with campground needs. Arrived on Friday afternoon, there was less than half a roll of TP in the women's latrine. Fortunately I always pack a roll! By Saturday afternoon the TP was stocked but the latrine was not very clean. It's a shame that all the sites were reserved yet at least half of them were never occupied all weekend. Managers need to follow-through with policy of canceling reservations if people don't show up for it the first night. Many cars were driving through looking for a site. A bunch of sites were unoccupied but marked "reserved."

Love it here, been here several times. Its just a nice little lace to get away and enjoy the mountains. Mosquitos and flies were bad this trip but never had that much trouble before. Enjoy staying here.

Great spot near an awesome fly fishing location. Had a blast and loved catching cutthroats out of the elk river!

Can hear the river all night and the fishing up the road was awesome. Hooked into a couple of greenbacks. Couldnt have asked for better weather too.

Great campground again, I remember it before the beetle kill and when it got cleared out. So much new growth and so many new trees. Seedhouse is our favorite campground. The camp hosts are super nice and informative, I like them.

This is a lovely campground with proximity to hikes in Mt. Zirkel Wilderness and the Continental Divide Trail. The sound of the Elk River lulled us to sleep each night. It was not full when we were there mid-week, but I imagine it fills up on weekends. The hosts were friendly and helpful.

Seedhouse is a pretty basic, but nice campground. The way I like them! Sites are a bit varied, so check the pictures before booking. Camp hosts very nice and friendly. So well-located near great trailheads...my go-to for Mt. Zirkel Wilderness!

Beautiful campground. Clean vault toilets. Close to the river. Enough flat space for large tent. Stayed at site 19.

bear visited twice on Wednesday evening. overall very good campground. also even though stage two fire warnings were in effect, no postings other than stage one were posted. this resulted in a lot of folks having campfires in the campground...not good

The cabin-like out house is horrific. It should either be emptied out or closed, it smelled awful. Any outhouse with a "historical building" designation is likely to be questionable, I suppose. The other two toilets were acceptable, although the sign on the door stated that the USFS was cleaning "frequently" due to covid-19, and in the 2 nights I was there I don't think they were cleaned, judging from the ever-growing layer of dead flies on the floor. The campground is pleasant, but dusty, especially the sites nearer the road, and in this drought even worse. Very convenient to many hiking and biking trails, lovely scenery. I'd stay again, but try to get a site further from the road. It might help if they put some "slow" signs on the road leading to the campground, trucks pulling trailers full of OHVs race by very fast, bad for dust and dangerous for kids as well.

Seedhouse Campground is easily accessible by car via a gravel road. There is a lovely river behind the campground. It was lovely to hike around. The bathrooms were clean. It’s a really beautiful spot.

Lovely campground. Quiet in a beautiful area. One thing to note is that some of the campsites look like they are right on the river (which is true). We picked a specific campsite for that reason. However, there is about a 50- 100 foot drop to access this river. So if you want to easily access a river, you do have to walk across the road and leave the campground (which still isn't far at all - just something to know). This campground has access to a lot of great hikes and isn't far from a few lakes and Steamboat as well. You will probably want 4W/AW drive as the last few miles to drive to this campground are quite bumpy.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
