Weather was terrible and the camping spot was very muddy and not level so we did not use it.

Wonderful campground but beware of altitude if you are used to it.

The campground was clean and the roads were in good condition. The information board was up to date. Our site was clean and the picnic table in good shape. The bathrooms were clean, well maintained and with a generous supply of toilet paper. While the Rout National Forest was under a stage 1 fire warning the vegetation didn't look dry nor distressed. The lake level was normal. There were three other campers set up while we were there, they were quiet and well behaved. It's a nice campground with close proximity to Steamboat Springs. I would recommend this campground and i will use it again.

Dumont is a lovely location. Scenic, great views. There is the lake and the fish were biting on a bait. Our grandson got to catch some keepers for dinner. There is the Divide Trail. As much hiking, biking, even horse back riding from an appropriate trailhead. No horses in the campground, though. No water available. Some vintage privies and new ones. Some sunny sites, some shady ones.

Clean restrooms. Incredible scenery. But big caution -- bring your own drinking water - the water system has been broken for several years.

Fabulous place. Good hiking right out of the campground. The flowers are gorgeous and a very nice lake. However, the driveways are not even close to level. There were 3 families in our group. We all had incredible difficulty leveling our RVs. Mine got close, but using every block I had, I still couldn't get it level.

The campground is in a very good location being very near Dumont Lake, but is in dire need of updating as the campsites are primitive with very old picnic tables and fire rings.

Always enjoy the wildflowers and quiet camping. No water available and trash cans were locked. This information would have been helpful with the reservation confirmation.

I give the site 5 stars because its huge (we fit two campers in it), right by a hiking trail, bathrooms, and a short walk to the lake. You feel secluded back in the forest in this site and its right by a field of wildflowers with pretty views! The mosquitoes are TERRIBLE! Ive never seen anything like it in my life and I used to live in Florida. Weve been over Labor Day weekend and didnt have that problem, so I would absolutely not go here in the middle of summer. The relentless swarms of mosquitoes make it miserable! Our family of 4 is covered in mosquito bites.

One of the prettiest campgrounds weve stayed at in Colorado. The spaces are spread out so lots of privacy. There are a lot of things to do at the campground - paddleboarding, biking and hiking. Also, bonus theres cell service. Only downside was the mosquitos as theres a lot of standing water in the campground.

Love the campground, clean toilets and atmosphere, Spot #19 was not even close to level. Slope wasso steep couldn't level the 26' trailer. Tongue to the ground and still not right...Description should beavailable when booking in order to be aware.

There was no water and no mention of this on the website or anything. We have no idea how long this will remain in effect, but enjoy camping here frequently. How can we determine if there will be water next time we go?

This was a close to home camping trip and an awesome way to explore the Continental Divide trail (a trailhead is in the campground) close to Steamboat! Beautiful with both moose and beaver in the lake and deer in the woods and on the trail. I highly recommend this campground.

Great campground! Ample spaces with real privacy, basic but clean bathrooms. Access to trails (CDT) and the little lake easy and convenient! Quiet, despite its proximity to the pass. I'll definitely stay again!

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.
