Great, simple campground. Loved the river flowing nearby. However, it was hard to find the campsite at first especially in the dark. The driveway was full of weeds. Other than that, it was a nice campsite

This campground is always clean and the camp host are amazing.

Pit toliets were very clean with hooks for lanterns and waste can

The campsite was very basic (as is usually true of sites in National Forests). The bathroom was a vault toilet but it was clean. Unfortunately there was no water available at the campsite and we were told that the only way to get water was to go to a different campground several miles down the road.

Also the campground host was not very friendly about the water situation (his RV seemed to be hooked up to water so I guess it's just the rest of us that need to go to a different campground) and he had a very insulting political bumper sticker on his vehicle which did not make me feel welcome at all.
