No A/C making for very uncomfortable nights/days if its humid. So humid that the basement floor was wet with condensation- we did not consider this an acceptable second sleeping place. Neighbors are very loud at night and love karaoke. Basically, we didnt sleep well.Fantastic views. Walk to the beach has very steep ladder-like steps. Fully stocked kitchen. Whole house can use a deep clean (cob webs, dust).

We had a terrific stay at Ocean View House. The location is spectacular, with the wide deck overlooking the sea. The house is classic Cape Cod; extremely well equipped, comfortable, and immaculate. Note that this is a one-bedroom home, with one small bathroom off the living room. The second bed is in the basement, and it's not cozy -- just a big open space, with a full bed, and no bathroom down there. But the layout worked fine for us for five nights. And having wifi is a plus (we were at Bay View House the previous year and it did not have wifi then). It's a long hike down to the beach (97 steps) but the stairs are just across the street from the house -- and the beach there is fabulous. Don't miss hiking the Atlantic White Cedar Swamp Trail nearby. Lots of good biking along Ocean View Drive to all the ocean beaches.

Great location with beautiful wide ocean views. Kitchen is very well stocked with anything you could need. Plenty of blankets, etc. for chilly nights. Very clean on arrival (from kitchen to bathroom to bedroom, to living room). House was very comfortable.
House could use a good reading lamp. Contacts were very responsive to email question. WIFI worked; no phone reception. Overall it was very good experience.
On the downside a house next door became a major party location for 4 nights of my stay with loud noise, voices, music (all outdoors) well past 3:30AM--every night. Made it impossible to sleep through the night. Very inconsiderate neighbors.

I set my alarm every morning to wake up and see the sunrise. Well worth it every time.

Nice house, nice spot. The steps to the beach are rather steep, many people might want to plan to drive to a nearby beach instead.

This cabin in Wellfleet is a great place to bike, hike the beach and explore the Cape from. We visit the outer Cape every summer and the Ocean House was a perfect fall getaway from this crazy year. The house was very clean, thoughtfully equipped and comfortable for our small group. We were very comfortable with the simplicity, so nothing takes away from the panoramic views. You can tell the property is well taken care of with some recent upgrades and furniture. Communication was great with Eric, our leasing specialist through the NPS. We will be back again next year.
