The campground host was pleasant at check-in. The site's gravel was so firmly packed it was impossible for me to get my tent stakes hammered in. Thankfully it wasn't a windy night so the tent stayed put just fine. Sites aren't very private so the neighbors will really make or break your experience here. I had a nice quiet night.

We enjoyed our two nights at site 27 in our 34 foot trailer. The campground is well kept and all the guests were very friendly and socially distant. There is a dump station and water spigot on the loop near the beach. When we went the water was low so it was a trek to access the lake with our kayaks, i can imagine at full pond level the white sand beach area would be lovely. The sites are level with a nice gravel surface. There were many families with kids on the sites nearer the beach and it was a little more social. 15 minute drive to Confluence or Friendsville for supplies/hiking and/or restaurants.
