Twin lakes was a great place to camp. There were a lot of options for tents, it was very shaded, and quiet. The atv learner loop was also a big hit. We will definitely come back again

Well. Its called twin lake. And when I pull up the app w limited service whilst in mammoth its pretty misleading. Would be great to differentiate. Didnt want to go to bridgeport

This location is beautiful and the camp ground was pretty much empty which was nice. The Twin Lakes is really one small pond the rest has been dried up. And is a meadow now. Do not go up thinking the maps representation is correct. Other small lakes and reservoirs along the canyon road have either dried up or been drained. It was hot but we were thankfully for the shaded camp sites, they all had great shaded areas. There is only one bathroom at the entrance but it was very clean! The biggest downside were the flies, they were everywhere and no big spray could keep them away! Bring a bug netting for your hangout areas. And bring your own tables as there are no picnic tables in the camp sites at all. It was pretty but with how out of the way it was and the lack of close activities we won’t be back.
