The sites are incorrectly labeled on the map. What is shown as site 1 (at the end of the loop) is actually site 3 and site 3 is actually site 1. Parking is very limited and the road is narrow making it difficult for trailers. I have a 30 foot fifth wheel trailer and it was very difficult to park in site 1 due to the narrow road. It's also difficult getting out because the road is narrow on parts of the loop at the end of the road. The tables and firepit are nice. There is water right at the site. The flush toilets are good although the restroom needs some maintenance. Tent space is limited and the site can support maybe 3 large tents.Overall we enjoyed our weekend here but the site is too small for groups larger than about 15 people. We had 10 people and it seemed nearly full.

Pros: beautiful area, flushing toilets, water. Cons: group site #1 does NOT have enough parking. 5 cars on one side of the road, 5 cars on the other side. If you have fewer cars then you could put a small trailer in the north side parking area. Also, VERY close to road and other camp sites.

The campground is nice but has poor signage and layout. You have to drive through other’s campsites to get to yours. The bathrooms are clean and have very big fire pits. It is next to the highway, fortunately it wasn’t busy early in the year.

This is a great site at Old Folks Flat - we were in Group Site #1. The picnic tables, food prep area and fire ring area were terrific. Be careful as to the size of RV you want to park at the site. While it looks like there is plenty of room for 3 or four RVs or trailers, manuevering them into the parking area is a significant challenge. This is due to trees very close on the inside of curves, and posts and large rocks lining the roadside and parking area. These leave little to no room to back a trailer into the site. Other than that, the site was wonderful for our 3-night stay for a family gathering.
