This was the most beautiful spot (#38)!! It's a huge campsite with lots of room and no neighbors, fantastic view. My kids loved scampering around on fallen logs and chasing tadpoles in the little pond. We went for a walk along the road and a little bit onto the ATV trails for beautiful views. We hiked 2 miles in and then back on the Left Fork of Huntington Trail that is nearby. We love this area!BUT, we arrived later than we planned and it was pitch dark and we could not find our way to our campsite. We wandered around for quite a while and could not find it. We gave up and picked a random spot that was not reserved, then found it in the daylight the next morning and moved. We'd missed the kiosk near the entrance, in the dark, that had a camp map. Better campsite number signage would've been helpful. We didn't have cell service to look up a map. I think I'd print one out at home ahead of time next time. The flies at site 38 were super frustrating. The spot was absolutely beautiful and wonderful but the flies were really a pest. I'd look for some way to ward them off next time. And it is a bit far from the toilet. But, I loved the seclusion and the setting. We also really enjoyed driving along Hwy 31. The whole area is just beautiful! We camped down in Forks of Huntington campground last year and did the full Left Fork Hike, took about 4 hours from top to bottom (much of it in the rain but we had a blast -- glad I'd packed rain ponchos). Gorgeous hike and tons of fun! The canyon and the national forest are a hidden gem in Utah!

We absolutely loved it here and wish we could have stayed longer. It was clean and private. We love campground where the host leaves us alone instead of passing by every hour to check on the site. For the time we were there it felt like our own piece of paradise. There are plenty atv trails around that are moderately challenging. We had a 7 year old on his first 4 wheeler and he and his little atv handled the trails just fine. We did not get a chance to kayak or fish but from what we saw it looks to be a great area for both. There is no cell phone service within the campground but there are cell service spots along hwy 31 with 5-10 minutes of the campground to check in if you need to with family/friends.
**NOW FOR WHY I GAVE IT 3 STARS INSTEAD OF 5***: Upon arrival to my campspot in which i had a reservation for there was a couple in my campspot and I asked them if they had a reservation. They said no and that the camp host that was currently there had put them there and this was their third time moving. I felt really bad and didnt want them to move again so I went on a search to find the main camphost and he said the other camp host that put th other couple in our reservation really messed up. and so i told the main camphost i would drive around and try to find another spot and when i found another spot the other couple had packed up and found another spot so i could have my reservation spot. all this took several hours to conclude and inconvienced me and the very very nice couple that chose to move to another spot once again. This 3 star rating is mostly on their behalf. I didnt finish setting up camp until 1130pm and delayed me checking in with my family who was worried sick because i shouldve checked in hours ago. I hope the Forest Service reads this and corrects and improves their check in process. We loved our stay once we got settled in. We will be back in September!

If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
