Very nice campground. I think that I experienced the nicest pit toilet ever at this campground!

We have used this campground as a base for visiting the area several times now. There can be some road noise, but it's not intrusive, for the most part. There is a trash container, in the form of a large dumpster near(ish) the information board near the entrance. We knew that we would not have water in the campground, but with planning, were able to tote enough water for our stay. (In fact we took home about half of our Reliance jugs still filled, but better too much water than too little.)With Verizon, I had enough coverage to use my hot spot.As with some other USFS campgrounds, though, I wish generator hours had more limitations than just quiet hours. In many other CGs, they are limited to 2 hours at a time. Here, I had to listen to the drone of one on a couple of camp days, for hours at a time.

Ok while the campground is one of my favorites this year was a poor experience with the camp host. I paid for a extra night in the site I was in which was #7. People came into #6 with several dogs and one was a pit bull. They proceeded to fight and bark and nobody did anything to stop it. I moved my stuff from site #7 to #8 which I had also paid for. So I lost the 20 bucks cause of the shenanigans with the dogs. Then the camp host tells me that my van and trailer are considered two vehicles and that I can’t have my dirt bike because that’s a third vehicle. Say what? He said I would have to get another spot for the extra vehicle. I was so confused. He said he would just call the officials and let them cite me. I was almost in tears as we had spoke at length the day before about the site and he said everything was good. I ended up leaving because I didn’t know what to do. Lost money and had a bad experience. Like I said I’ve stayed there many times and have never been told that my dirt bike was considered a third vehicle. There were many other rvs with ohv,s, dual sport bikes and a trailer all at their site. Solo van female here so not like I had a ton of people causing trouble. 😔
