The drive is a bit of a white knuckle adventure with steep drops and no guard rails, but well worth the trip. Beautiful aspen grove by the lake. Saw many deer and a fox in the campground as well as a bugling elk. Campground was crowded but sites are far enough apart with lots of trees. Hard to believe it was that close to Moab.

The information did not say it was a narrow road not suitable for a truck pulling a camper. I wish we would have known how narrow the road was and how high we would be going up the mountain. Looked on maps and could not find Warner Lake. We had no idea we would be on such a narrow road. Dont know if the other road had been open, if the road would have been better.

The host was absolutely amazing! Campground was clean and well kept. Would be nice to have trash service and potable water for the fee charged.

Beautiful spot in the aspens, deer walking through camp, much cooler than Moab. Very twisty, but well maintained roads to get there. Nice bike or hiking trails nearby. Campground well maintained. Lake pretty but smaller than expected. Would definitely go here again.

This campsite is in such a pretty setting, surrounded by Aspens and just a short walk from Warner Lake. If I'm in the area, I'll definitely stay here again.

Surprisingly beautiful spot. Wake up to birch trees at sunrise. Bathrooms are clean (just toilet- no showers). Only downside is that it's an hour drive up a mountain and the road is a little scary...

We hit Warner Lake at the height of the golden aspens and it was sublime. The sites are spacious and there are many walks accessed directly from the campground. The drive from Moab is lovely, and it's wonderful to be out of the hubbub. We'll definitely return.
