Nothing but poison oak. Camp host was over asking for money within 5 mins of us arriving while we unpacked.

Really lovely campsite, loved the nearby trails up to the top of the hill with stunning views down to the ocean and all the way to the east. Hosts were super nice. Our campsite was too close to the 2 surrounding campsites, (sites at the end of the campground I think numbering in the 20s) and all the smoke from the campfires was too much so I had retire early to sleep squished in the airtight car instead of the tent so I could breathe. Lots of ticks so do tick checks!

Great trail starts at the campground.

Homeless guy with a mean dog off-lease, the camp host did nothing. 1,000,000 flies, could not eat outside. Noisy generator in camp. Lots of poison oak. What was there not to like? Would not go back

Perfect location to be near enough to the coast without having to be in the middle of it all. Well laid out, generally quiet, and very clean (aside from the jerks who left Airsoft pellets and cigarette butts all over our campsite.) Camp host was friendly and attentive. Dealings with the concessionaire on my questions beforehand were nothing short of amazing. We were in site #20 and I can see how the closeness of #21 and #22 might be a problem if the same party didn't book both, but we had plenty of room in our spot. Already scoped out other sites for a return trip! Estero Bluffs (just north of Cayucos) was a nice place to go to the water without the crowds. Not a beach for lounging on, but that wasn't our goal.

Good access to trails and close to Morro Bay. Some campsites are very cramped and up close to your "neighbor" which would suit groups of friends going into 2 campsites.
