Our second time camping at Cerro Alto. Again, an outstanding experience! The sites and facilities are clean and well maintained. Our grandson loved "Park Ranger" Katy and so did we. She was friendly and available, and the doggies were nice.Above the coastal fog and away from the inland heat, Cerro Alto is now one of our favorite campgrounds. The variety and abundance of flora and fauna are amazing!...Just watch out for the poison oak :-)

It was wonderful. Beautiful setting. I had a medical emergency and was by myself with my dog. When the ambulance came the campground host held onto my dog until my husband could pick him up. Restrooms were clean and it was quiet our whole stay.

We loved camping here. Our campsite was right next to the beginning of the hike.
We drove to Atascadero Lake and had a nice day outing. The location of this campsite is good.
We had #22.
The only thing is we didn't understand why they can't have a regular bathroom because there is electrical outlets.
