Sites are spread out, excellent shade for the warmer days. Camp host were excellent and attentive. The restrooms were always clean and well kept. Campground noise was not an issue, all were respectful during out stay.

Very convenient to Santa Barbara and Solvang. My 30 foot class C fit in spot 33. Wild Turkeys were fun.

Nice campground, even when full there was good distance between the sites. Wild Turkeys or something like that wandering around the campground was kind of neat too

The Campground is really easy to find which is nice. It's also a 25min Drive from Lake Cachuma. We took the kids there to Lake Cachuma for a dip in the pool, which was a nice amenity to have close by. There are no stores close by. You'll have to drive into the city in order to replenish supplies if you need too. There are a lot of bugs, But nothing that really bites. More Creepy Crawly doods but they just make you more situationally aware. I do love that its in an Oak Grave so your camp fires burn hot and long, you also get a nice flavor for any Asada's (Grilling) that you do. I recommend bringing a shovel so you can clean out the Fire pits, The Camp Host doesn't do it. I just dug a deep hole near by and dumped it all in there and covered it up. At night it does get a bit noisy since it's really close to a main road but I wasn't to bothered by it. Also make sure you keep your food and stuff in a Sterilite container, The Raccoons are advantageous and will eat anything thats left out on the table. I'll admit that was my own fault for not thinking about that prior to going to sleep.
