Stayed at campsite 16 it has a wide area surrounded by trees that provided ample shade ( although was worried about the widow makers ). The fire ring and bench was across a dried river bed which is not terrible. Provides a bit more seclusion. Although would consider if you are lazy as your tent and bench are separated. I did find myself missing the convenience. The ground was mostly flat with a slight incline plan your tent placement accordingly. This campsite takes extremely well care of their bathrooms as all the ones I visited where very clean. I did find myself having service out there ( T-Mobile) enough to stream episodes of some series Ive been watching. This campy site was great over all and would recommend it to those who want an escape. The only thing I would change is the campsite location I chose .

Wonderful campground and location, our site was spacious with a tent area and the fire pit/bbq/table across a dry creek bed from the tent area.Only complaint was fly bags STANK, but they were catching flys so I shouldnt complain

Very pretty campsite. The sites around the entrance loop are pretty open, but the campsites in the second loop are more private with lots of trees. Most of the sites we saw had somewhat of a slope to them. Lots of poison ivy in April. Well maintained toilets. Overall we would definitely stay again.

Great toilet facilities. Lovely campspots, well-maintained. Campsite #16 was great, but the road was fairly audible.

Easy to locate on Google maps with directions, campsite reserved sign was up by the camp host, and facilities in good condition. The restrooms were clean and functioning, sufficient toilet paper was supplied. Drinking water spickets were frequent throughout the campsites. The campsites were generally well shaded with trees and laid out so not too close together so it felt more rustic.

For a future improvement, it would be nice if the online reservation system for this campground had a campground map with campsite locations and photos for picking out a spot like other campgrounds have online.

This is a gem and we almost do not want to do a review so I can keep it to ourselves The Campgrounds are spread sufficiently to give a good level of privacy and most groups are not loud (even with kids)The camp host are helpful and come by to check on you (in a friendly way)Turkeys are ALWAYS walking around your tents in the morning and it is a funny surprise the first time. The weather is pleasant and there are fun recreations and hiking areas around the campgrounds.Spigots in the campsite and Vault toilets spread around (it used to be a (Boy scout Camp)Some sites have poison ivy so keep your eyes openA good fun place to camp and explore

Great campsite, awesome experience! We camped Tuesday-Friday, it was quiet and peaceful, only a few other campers. We were visited by a flock of 10-12 turkeys early one morning, and a gaze of 10+ racoons another night at 1am... Make sure you don't leave any food out! They climbed into my open Bronco and had a feast on the hamburg rolls I forgot to put away. Then they swarmed our campsite looking for more food until they finally gave up. It was more entertaining than anything! The one other concern is staying out of the Poison Oak when in season (which it was).
