My girlfriend and I recently did a 1 night stay here. I booked it before through the Recreation app it received really good reviews. We both the campsite was boring, lacked good scenery, bathrooms were dirty and the parking spots are TINY. My Chevy Colorado barely fit in the parking spot. We had spot #11 and the fire pit/BBQ/bench is about 50 feet away on a semi steep rocky hill. The campsite also didn't allow us to use the fire pit or BBQ grill. The site also had a pretty bad fly problem too. I'm glad we only stayed 1 night. Probably won't return any time soon.

We stayed at the Los Prietos campground for 2 nights during a two week long camping trip across the US, and it was very nice! not very popular so we only had a few neighbors, but everyone was very friendly and the campground was relaxing and quiet most of the time. there was fire pits, bathrooms, water, and a picnic table. Not too many bugs and I got to see some neat wildlife; a giant toad and bats! Along with the usual crows and ground squirrels. Good access as well to Santa Barbara, as it wasn't too long of a drive to the beach.

We went in October and you need a heater to keep warm in tent. Overall good experience got 3 spaces to accommodate a large group but only used 2, the space for tents was not the issue; it is the parking, but you can park outside of the gate. The only thing is our spot was on a bit of an incline and was hard to walk up hill and down. Our spot also had loose dirt so your clothes does not stay clean. The pluses are that Thre are walking paths around campground and the sites ate quite.
