We arrived on Mon. 5/27, Memorial Day, to an empty (and lovely) campground. We booked site 51 online. It sucks. Don't book it. Its location on the map is deceiving. It's right next to the road and the access to the creek is just a steep drop off. We went to the camp host to see what sites were available for us to switch to. Couldn't find them, waited for 20 minutes at the front, no one ever showed. We made multiple loops of the campground looking at sites and stopped back at the camp host each time, even knocking on their trailer. Never saw them or were able to talk to them about switching sites. In total we were attempting to find them for over an hour before we decided to proceed in choosing a different site. There were envelopes at the front for putting cash in and choosing your site and a sign that said drop it in the box and the camp hosts will come to the site to check you in. So we chose a new site that had a post with no reservation for the dates we were staying, wrote a note on the envelope with our reservation number, original site we booked, and all other info. We continued to our new site, set up, never saw the camp hosts despite driving back to the front later to try to find them again. They never came by. At 3pm the next day, someone shows up saying they booked the site we were at online. We say okay, that sucks because there was zero signage saying that the site was reserved for that date. My partner drove back to the front to try to talk to the camp hosts about what sites were available for us to move to. While he was gone, I continued packing up our stuff and the camp hosts pulled up to our site and proceeded to yell at and berate me for being at the wrong site without talking to them first. In front of my scared five old. So they failed to update campsite posts or be available for campers to talk to. What's silly is any one who drove up without a reservation could have been in the same situation we were in bc they failed to do their jobs. Avoid.

Beautiful, simple, and nicely laid-out campground! So many of of the sites are right next to the creek, which provided relaxing water sounds throughout the day and night. Vault toilets were around everywhere, and were all super clean and well-stocked with toilet paper. I loved it here- and I'll be back soon! Definitely less crowded during the weekdays if you're like me and prefer a quiet, solo camping time!

Perfect get away, lots of shade and a babbling brook!

The host was very friendly, and the campground was quiet and spacious. The bathroom was clean. We hiked along the creek and it was a very fun experience.
