The hosts are great. The campground is awesome. The only thing that is missing is showers and water. We been coming here or holiday group camp for the last 25 years

We recently went camping and had an amazing experience. The river was absolutely stunning, providing a serene backdrop to our days. The campsite itself was incredibly comfortable, with all the amenities we needed to relax and enjoy nature.

We had a lovely time camping with a preschool class! We had a great stretch of campsites with a secluded upper area and it was perfect for our group (sites 67-69). Beautiful space, everyone was friendly, and the camp hosts were greatcame by and checked on us and offered advice for places to explore!

My wife and I took a weekend to explore wheeler gorge and stayed for 3 nights. Having camped at various locations around the country I must say this is one of the best. The camp site and grounds were very well maintained and clean. The facilities were well upkept, stocked, clean, and working. Despite being a busy weekend for the camp grounds with many people and kids running around, Becky, Bob, and Emily (camp hosts) ran a tight show and enforced the site rules to the letter. No shenanigans afoot on her watch! This made the camping experience even better for everyone. There was great hiking and hot springs near by to enjoy or relax. Ojai city is close enough for any supplies forgotten or needed. This camp ground is perfectly placed and just far enough to escape the busy life. There was no cell service (I have AT&T, wife has T-Mobile), no wifi, power, or running water, nada, just nature and stars. Perfect REAL camping! The sites had a great variety of shaded and sunny, pick your flavor. Regardless, having a nice campfire at the end of the day was the best (wood for sale on site which was really really convenient). I highly recommend this camp site for all, I know I'll certainly be back. Cheers!

Great hosts. Beware there are lots of mosquitoes here. This could be expected with the proximity to the creek. They are very aggressive. It can also be unexpectedly hot.

Really beautiful campgrounds with a gorgeous stream running throughout; we were in campsites 66, 67, and 68, and they were very quiet with close proximity to a small bathroom. Site 67 was definitely larger than the other two, 66 was a bit cramped. Campground hosts would swing by every few hours offering bundles of wood, which is super convenient. Would be smart to bring bug spray though. We would definitely go back!

The camp hosts were extremely rude. Every campsite around us was up past 10 drinking beers and the campsite across us even had children laughing and making noise. We were literally sitting down eating smores and watching the meteor shower when this lady comes up yelling, weve already warned you once. This is your last warning to be quiet. Lights out. If we have to come back again well kick you out immediately. First of all, our lights were out since we were watching the meteor shower. We hadnt received a first warning so we dont know why this was the second and last. Also, the camp host was the loudest person there because every campsite around us heard her yelling. And I wish she wouldve kicked us out then and there because I would have had no trouble showing her what it was like to actually be loud and disturbing. The campsite itself was nice, but her people skills were the absolute worst. I will also add that the people around us continued to be loud and drink and stay up, receiving no warnings. But everyone else around us was white, so maybe that played a role. I will add that the silver lining in this story is that the next morning as we were packing up she drove by in her golf cart and wasnt paying attention to where she was going and literally almost flipped her cart by driving into a giant boulder on the side of the road, not once, but twice. Right in front of our familys campsite. Karma. Again, two stars because the campsite is nice. However, the staff is ridiculously rude compared to the other places Ive camped at. Only go as a last resort if you cant find anywhere else to camp.

If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
