Very nice area next to a river. However the BBQ was slanted 30 degrees and firepit was not in great shape either. The campsite and local trail is in need of maintenance. PS the spickets do not have running water anymore.

This is a lovely campground with a sweet little river running through it. Easy to find and nice and peaceful. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing camping experience. We stood next to the water it was beautiful! The camp host Juana and Alex were amazing! They were accommodating and super friendly and outgoing! Bathrooms were kept clean. Only thing is I wished they had running water, but other than that its a clean great campground.

We arrived on a Monday when there weren't many reservations. The campground host was kind enough to offer us a better campsite...it was fantastic! We had a most peaceful and beautiful experience...sitting/meditating by the stream, hiking the area, and staying warm by the evening fire. We would definitely return.

No water in the rivers. But hey at least we didnt get anything stolen and there were no bug bites. Very calm. Wish it wasn't a drought.

It was great to get a nice campsite at a nearby campground. Our site was large and level for our 2 person Meerkat trailer. It was appointed with a fire pit, a grill, and a picnic table. The site was backed by a running creek and surrounded by large trees. At night the sky was very dark, so you could see thousands of stars and many planets. The campground hosts were very kind and accommodating. They enjoyed stopping by to chat and see how we were doing-- very friendly. The campground does not supply any water-- YOU MUST BRING YOUR OWN WATER. This is a major consideration particularly when washing dishes, which uses more water than I figured. There is a nature walk along the creek and over the hillside. There is also evidence of bear activity, but we saw no bears. I would consider returning in the spring for a 1-2 night stay, the lack of potable water limits the length of stay.

Really nice site and super friendly camp hosts when we were there. We were on site 007 which is small in comparison to the other campsites but it it right there on the creek and the kids had a blast discovering the waters edge. Mosquitoes were a major pain in the rear, so bring your spray! There are these little tiny mice that come out at night and go through any food left out so you need to pack it in when you go to bed. They are cute and they live in the tree to the right --- but we found them everywhere and one even made it's way into the tent. There is a highway right across from your site but only one car in an hour went by at night. There are also some pretty noisy bullfrogs until about midnight, then they all quit like they have a built-in clock!
