Cool small campground in a river valley. Plenty of water in the creek for fishing, even in January. Camp host was friendly. There were only 2 other sites being used when we were there so it was pretty quite. A couple good short hikes around the grounds.

Fantastic campsite, host is amazing and super outgoing, water from the stream is clear and always flowing and can be heard clearly from the campsite, toilets are about what you would expect but are not that bad once you use it, lots of great hiking and 4x4 trails in the area, sometimes there's fish in the creek.

Beautiful location. It felt very remote but safe. The camp host was very warm and welcoming and was always happy to help with questions. We did get a few ticks and hadn’t planned for them during the winter so might be good to pack accordingly.

Creek was flowing in November in the middle of a drought which is amazing. Great hike up the creek. Campground host is probably the most friendly and informed host I’ve ever seen. Beautiful site and beautiful campground in a great location.

Many sites don’t have a lot of shade, so if you’ve never been there I would bring a canopy just to be safe.
Bathrooms are cleaned twice a day but are still pit toilets.
Site #22 is terribly small and better for a two person tent or maybe someone who sleeps in a van. It is creekside so that’s a bonus.
Site number one has no shade at all.
Two has some shade and a bonus table in the back
Three is attached to the group site which is well worth the price
Four is awesome, shady and creekside
Five (FCFS) is shady and behind the restroom
Six is minimum shade but creekside
Seven is shady but not by the creek
8 (fcfs) is full of sun and close to the creek crossing
9 is the camphost (me, Jade)
10 , 11, 12 and 13 is early morning sun and better for smaller tents . On a smal hill
12a (fcfs) some decent shade and secluded
14 and 15 not much shade, flat sites
16 (fcfs) full of sunshine and flat
17 shady and hilly
18 smaller, shade and near the creek walk
19 shady, flat creekside
20 parking is across the road from the site (not far at all) mostly shaded and creekside
21 (fcfs) sunny and creekside
22 small (read above)
23 a little shade, flat ground
24 a little shade, flat ground
And there you have it folks! Always check current fire restrictions , no music or generators after ten, if fires are allowed wood is sold on site.

The camp hosts were the nicest people and they really made us feel safe. The campground is beautiful, and the hikes connected to the campground were such a joy. It was easy to socially distance and everyone was respectful of each other. I’ll be going back!
