Did not have a chance to experience this campsite and I dont think ill be trying to in the future. On our way to the campsite(reservation was made in advance), the road to the entrance of the campsite was closed. There was no notice or email and had to drive all the way back home. We tried to contact the office but we couldnt as there was no working number available. Requested a refund throught the main office and still no response a week later.

Great place to camp by a creek.

Beautiful campground. The staff is very kind and helpful. I highly recommend sites 18 to 21 as they are right next to the creek.

The camp host Jade was the best part of this experience. She was nice, so friendly and knowledgeable. The creek was flowing which made for a beautiful sound to fall asleep to. 10/10 would recommend.

It was much colder than we expected as Maricopa is a ways from the campsite and not an accurate representation for weather. Again 35 degrees at night is way too cold for me and my kids, so come prepared with a propane heater or warm blankets. Generators are not allowed after 10pm for quiet hours. Otherwise the host was very nice and made sure we had plenty of firewood. There is a cute trail that follows the creek and was great for our kids to play along. There were lots of ants and bugs but they didn’t really bother us much. We went end of March so still too cool for mosquitos, I only got one bite on our hike and I usually get devoured. We were at campsite 20, which was nice but I’d say 19 was better! Both are right next to the creek with great access, but 19 had better tent location. Most of the sites were small and it was hard to tell where to put the tent. I’d say 3, 4 &6 were pretty great spots on the creek with plenty of space for a couple tents! Vault toilets aren’t my favorite but there was plenty of toilet paper. Not a lot to do but a great spot to escape the city. Overall it was a good experience tho I prefer more forested campgrounds and warmer weather.

Great spot! The camp host was very friendly and the creek is wonderful. Both trails nearby are fun to hike. Our only downside was the campsite next to us leaving trash by the creek.

This was a great place to camp at. Our site was right next to the creek and was a wonderful place to hang out. Will definitely be back. The campground host was so amazing as well.
