Shonda and Larry are the best, the creek was flowing and the hikes are so fun for the whole family. Can't wait to go back!

We had such a wonderful experience camping here. The leaves were just starting to change for fall. There were lots of butterflies and ladybugs in our campsite. We were right next to the creek so we had nice water sounds. It was a bit cold camping in late October, but still lovely.

We went this past weekend and enjoyed a quaint and quiet weekend. Apparently it gets busier during the summer but because it was relatively cold, there was only maybe 3 other sites that had people! We stayed in site 4 and it was right next to the creek. Loved hearing the creek flow all day and night. Set up our hammock and relaxed. Jade was an awesome host and made sure we had everything we needed / checked in every now and then which made it feel safe as well! Will definitely be coming again.

Jade was one of the best camp hosts I’ve ver had. Super helpful in getting me the perfect site, lots of info of the area, overall just good human being. The site was beautiful! That area is stunning!

Stayed in loop 1 site 4 right along the creek. Love the location and falling asleep to the sound of water.
Jade, the camp host was so nice and friendly. She gave me the camp run down and advised on the best hikes. She knew I was solo camping and let me know that she was right down the road if I needed anything. The pit toilet was clean and the campsite was a quiet and peacefull respite from LA. Will come back again. Bonus is a dog named Laddy, he was a great playmate for my pup and enjoyed sharing a few meals with us!

Nice river by the campground, sites are decently spaced out. Leaves hadn’t all come in, but once they do, the shade will be plentiful! Campground hosts were very friendly and helpful. Nice spot not far from LA.

This is a beautiful campground with a very friendly and helpful host. Can be tricky to find from the road at first, but it is worth the trouble. Features a small trail that runs next to a creek, and a more serious backpacking trail that runs for at least 15 miles through the Sespe Wilderness (but even the first 3 are gorgeous).

Our spot was right next to the creek, very nice to hear the running water. We were also across the road from the dumpsters and bathrooms and it was not a problem at all, despite my concerns.
