Bathrooms were clean. Bring plenty of water, and bug spray. Site 54 was secluded and quiet. Go with site 55 or 56 nice views and flat area to set up your tent.

My group of 3 campers had an average time at McGill. We stayed in Loop 3 at site 54. The description is a bit misleading. The driveway grade is labeled as "Slight" which is accurate, but the camping area is downhill from the parking space. So you're walking up and down a slope to unload and set up camp. I'm also surprised that the max # of campers is listed as 6. We felt crowded with 3 people & our 6 person tent did not fit in the site comfortably. It was placed on the only flat area between two trees. The camp host also made jokes about taking our beverages and needing to see paperwork for our camp supplies. It was confusing and off-putting. I made a loop around the campground and found other sites that looked nice and flat. They are 66, 70, 71, 45.

Spent two nights here while mountain biking. The campground was pretty quiet and only about 1/2 full. Our spot was uphill from the main road, but did not have too much road noise. Toilets were clean and the trails around were nice. A great place if you want to do some riding or hiking.
