What a great campground! The cleanest campground we have ever seen. The camp hosts, Keith and his wife Missy(?), were the best. The campground was so quiet and was in a beautiful tree-filled setting. Lots of wildlife, deer, and raccoons at night, so lock up your garbage and plenty of birds. There is great hiking out of the campground, which is a bonus. Oh, and the river is a great place to play with the dogs.

Great site, excellent hosts. Bathrooms were cleaned daily, and showers were camp showers; they were not my home shower, but they were fine. The campsites were well-maintained and spacious. I saw the hosts clean every site vacated very thoroughly daily. We loved this site, I hope you do too.

We stayed from 12/3 to 12/5. The campground was very quiet. When we checked in there was one other tent camper. Later that night another tent camper came checked in. The restrooms and showers were the cleanest of any campground we have every stayed. The weather was perfect, low 40's during the night and low 60's during the day. We hiked out to the gorge and came back on the Santa Lucia trail. Just lovely. Very few people. The camp hosts were wonderful checking on us several times a day to see if we needed anything. We can't wait to go back.

This campground is a gem. It is peaceful, quiet, beautifully maintained and the bathrooms are imaculate. The camphosts were delightful and helpful in recommending hikes for us, older folks. All in all, a great spot for our Thanksgiving holiday.

It was a scenic drive from Monterey to get to the camp, although a bit long but doesn't feel boring at all. The camp was pretty clean with multiple running tap water stations and shower/restrooms. Despite no phone signal, a paid telephone booth comes handy. There are dears but no other wild animals observed. Near the camping site there are a few good spots to visit: the gorge has a magnificent view and the day-use area can get you close to the water with picnic tables alongside. Perfect place for a family trip!

Very nice campground in a very picturesque setting. The bathrooms were good, the showers were okay. Only one out of the two in each building had hot water.

Absolutely no internet or cell signal ...depending upon your point of view that’s either good or bad. No hookups but we knew that going in, too. The location is beautiful and the sites are large.
