Clean, quiet, beautiful. Showers available, but mine was way too hot and not adjustable. Usually it's the opposite problem ;-). Other than that, perfect experience.

This campground is an out of the way gem next to a hiking trail with spectacular views of the Arroyo River gorge. The hosts kept the restrooms immaculately clean; there are coin operated showers but mine was cold. The sites are a little close together but quiet time at night is strictly enforced.

Cleanest restrooms and wonderful staff! A great experience all around. Sadly some of the more remote areas of the Day Use area had a trash problem. Not Staff’s fault but a sad commentary on human behavior.

The camp hosts were very nice and attentive, unfortunately the facilities were in pretty rough shape, two of the four bathrooms in our part of the campsite were out of commission and there was no potable water at the campsite. For $30/night I at least hope to not have to wait in line for the bathroom. Also, both times I have camped here people have not observed the ‘quiet hours’ with some camps parting late into the night and other camps making tons of nose at 6am with generators and music.

Chill campsite + very remote (no cell service on any carrier) = a nice camping experience. Be aware that despite whatever you select on recreation.gov, extra vehicles will cost an extra $10 cash per night. This was not clear on the website and clearly the host has had to explain this a bunch of times.
