This campsite was great for our party of 10. It was also right next to the bathroom and a short walk from the lake.

The site was clean and the area seemed well maintained. I am sure to help with fire risk, the underbrush and many trees had been cleared losing pivacy. This was not an issue for me, I was just there to sleep and get back on the road, but something people should look at.The proximity to the lake and to town was great. I popped up the valley for the Morrell Falls hike and had a super afternoon, followed by breakfast at a pullout on Salmon Lake when I was leaving the next day.

Facility was good: great access to lake in both boat ramp and day use area. Campsite and facilities were relatively clean. Sites have some tree coverage, but very limited, and if tent camping you hear everything. Sites are better suited if you are sleeping in your vehicle or camper.The noise level day and night was bad. At the start of quiet time someone went around hoking their horn and yelling. Other campers were talking loudly past midnight. We ended up leaving a day early because two nights in a row with no sleep was bad enough, we had come from Holland Lake where camper noise wasn't much better.Paths to campsites are one way and very narrow. You can get stuck waiting to get to your campsite. People would park vehicles blocking the road or create a bottle neck by not driving their vehicle and boat around again if everyone in their party wasn't ready to go at once.

Love this campground. Camp hosts were nowhere to be found except their own camp sites. Only real issue was that our campsite didn't have our reservation on it and there were generators running all night long.

We got to the campsite very late and were very happy to have our reserved spot waiting for us. The site was great, everything at our spot was in good condition and the vault toilet was what youd expect.

Was going great till fire ban and the host checked everyday felt a little accusatory tried reporting that the campsite next to me was lighting there camfire everyday till I stopped camping no answers from ranger station or campground host probably won't go again. I have evidence of other site starting the campfire. But didn't see host stopping them seemed to only stop by my site to check.

The camp Host warned us the very first day that kids have been subjects of human trafficking from this campground this year. She said keep your kids close. We did extensive online research and came up with nothing to indicate this has occurred at Big Larch. So, Im not sure if this is true or not. If not true Im not sure what she was trying to achieve by spreading rumors. Maybe she doesnt like kids running around? Anyway it did succeed at scaring the heck out of little kids that there could be a kidnapper around!

The only issue the group of us had for Site A and Site B was the main bathroom down at the beach/day use area. The smell from that bathroom was completely disgusting and nauseating. It was this way the whole 8 days we were there. Never saw that it was cleaned out or even emptied. Could not even use that bathroom as it smelled so bad that it made you vomit. I hope in the future that this gets taken care of. Otherwise we had a great time.

Site was plenty big for 5 families, beach was big and clean with sand for the kids to play. Great place for a family camp! Bathroom by the beach did not have a working lock but was decently clean for an outhouse.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
