There were MANY, MANY hikers that made themselves at home on our tables when we were present in the pavilion. MANY, MANY bikers that just drove right by us when we were in the camp area. I realize this has become a societal issue but two families brought pack lunches and sat down at tables just outside the pavilion. Hikers just make their way through the camp area all the time. The multiple trails have contributed to this intrusion. This visit was not enjoyable because of the multiple, daily intrusion. Unfortunately, I do not have a solution for their rudeness.

Group 1 pavilion has a leaky roof. It rained one entire day we were at Group camp 1 and could not stay in the pavilion as it was flooded and tables were wet.

The campground itself was great, very Clean and spacious. Willie met us on arrival and was very helpful and answered all questions. The only downfall was the excessively loud campers in the adjacent sites. They were both up well past 2am being extremely loud. It would be great if that was able to be monitored more. We booked the site to enjoy peace and quiet and that was not what we got.

I would recommend this site for all the positive attributes, just hope if you do you have considerate neighbors

We love staying at camp 1 EXCEPT there are trails that actually lead right up to the pavilion - we have been having a meal and a bike will come within one foot of us, same experience has happened with hikers. Would like to see the forest service somehow erase these footpaths, which have not been created by the forest service but because of the heavy foot and bike traffic look as if they are actual hiking trails.
