Merrill Campground is located in the Eagle Lake Ranger District, Lassen National Forest (2 hrs 35 min northeast of Chico, CA) with an elevation of 5,139 feet. There are a total of 168 campsites. The campground is normally open from mid May to the end of October. Sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 40 and 178 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. Each site includes a picnic table and fire ring. 117 sites have electric and water hookups. Fees range from $32.00 to $77.00. Some amenities include swimming, flush toilets. Activities include biking.

The campground is beautiful, very spacious sites. And the hosts are the best! We had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend there and will be coming back!

Campground was great, neatly kept as always, camp host were friendly and very helpful. Camp neighbors in adjacent spot were awful, yelling screaming at screaming and crying kids all day late into the night and start early in the morning. Camp host I was told have limited power to remove such folks from the campground, its was too bad really put a damper on what would have been a great experience.

What a beautiful campground! Lots of room between us and our neighbors, beautiful trees all around and great shade. The paved bike trail makes for a beautiful 5 mile, round trip, ride to the marina. The showers at the marina are very clean. Buy tokens at the marina store $2.50 each, which gives you a 5 minute shower. We have Verizon and had very good service. Stan and Sue are very friendly and informative camp hosts!We will definitely come back!

Beautiful, spacious sites, easy and level walking trails. We always meet friendly people and have a fun, relaxing time.

Wonderful campground. We felt warmly welcomed by the camp hosts. The sites are spaced well with drinkable water spigots every few sites. Bathrooms were very clean. The lake is a little walk from the campsite. Chairs are a good idea. We hope to stay here again in the future.

Very well kept campground with huge sites. The campground hosts are so friendly!! We love the long walk/bike pathliterally goes for miles.

The campground is nice. Easy to get into with a trailer. They definitely need more spaces with sewer. There is a dump station across the highway, but the price of it isn't included with your camp space.

The Campground is well kept. Bathroom is very clean. Camp Hosts are very friendly and they go around to check in with campers. Campsites are big. Where we were has a nice lake view. We enjoyed our 3 nights and well definitely come back again.

Site 103 boasts full shade in its details. This is absolutely not true. We specifically chose this site for that reason as one of our campers has a sun sensitivity but from 11am until 4pm there is no shade at all. Bathrooms are decent, a little bug ridden but its a campground. Campground itself is a really nice peaceful place, better when the kiddos are back in school though *wink*.
