We had very nice, peaceful, time at Merrill campground. Fishing Eagle Lake was medium, with more Tui chub than trout. All in all we enjoyed our stay. Would like to see the Osprey make a comeback.

The Merrill campground is a very beautiful and secluded campground with power and water at each RV campsite. All of the bathrooms were immaculate and all of the people at the campsite were courteous and friendly. I felt very safe there at all hours of the day and night. The park was very clean and there was no trash about. It's the second time we visited there with our 27-foot trailer and look forward returning there this spring. Eagle Lake and the Merrill Campground is our number one destination when we go camping. It is a safe place for your children to roam around in their bicycles or play at the beach. The paved trails are great for a stroll with your dogs are a bike ride.

Been coming here for about 40 years! Its a great campground. We love the large sites. The camp hosts were so friendly and helpful. The only thing I found disturbing were all the electric bikes the kids were riding were going speeds that far exceeded the speed limit. Im not a fan.

We love to go up to Eagle Lake every year. The water level has dropped a bit, but still all is good! Very nice campground spacing, as always.

We got here late the day of our reservation. We ddnt get to enjoy it. From what we saw its beautiful. Camp host was awesome. A very strange thing is, there isnt a shower anywhere. They have a nice block bathroom every 50 yards but no shower. I had to drive to the marina and pay $5. I know people have campers but not everyone uses their shower but tents wouldnt have them.

They should address the low electricity problem..low voltage due to bigger rv/fifthwheels with one or two AC running all day

My beautiful wife and I went to Merrill campground for a couple days to continue the celebration of our 37 years of marriage. Although the water was down and our boat was not with us this time, we had a wonderful experience. Everything was just fantastic from the spot we had #17, to the weather, to the neighbors and of course the campground host who was above amazing. We felt very welcome and we would recommend this campground to everyone! The bike trails are great, they are all paved so be ready for some exercise. The store was open at the marina and the ice cream was ready for devouring and fresh. The prices are reasonable and the staff is amazing. They rent boats if you want one and the fish that were caught were of the very large size. Law enforcement kept everything in check but they didn't bother us. The only complaint we can think of is we needed more time there and will plan a longer trip next time.

Merrill Campground is a great place to vacation. The campgrounds are nice and depending on the loop you stay in the views of the lake are great. Lots of places to see that are just a day trip - Lassen Natl Park, Lake Almanor and we're usually there for the Lassen Fair.

Merrill campground is very nice and well kept. The hosts are well organized and run a nice operation. They cant do anything about the natural issues here. Mosquitoes in July are vicious. The lake has no beach with the water ending in mud and weeds. If youre going for the lake youll be disappointed unless youre boating. The lake has a health hazard where youre not to allow dogs to swim, but its ok for you to swim? Earlier or later than July might be much better. Nice trails and forests, camping in the trees. Kids on bikes, good family place. Except for the bugs

Great campsite. Sites are not close together. Access to the lake shore can be difficult.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
