We got to our 'campsite' #32 and were like where do we sleep? It was really sloped. Like if you tripped you would be rolling down the hill like princess buttercup and Wesley in the princess bride. We ended up sleeping in the dirt next to the car in single file. In the middle of the night an RV pulled in and scared the bejezus out of us. On the plus it was pretty quiet after 10pm. We stayed one night.

Loved it here, I was in space 32. This spot was actually pretty big and private. There was only 1 spot that was right next to us but 32 is big enough to still have fun with your family. There was also this cool spot up the little path that is great to watch the sunset!

I was in space #32. There was no flat ground. Everything was tilted. Because of that, cooking was slow, and sleeping in our tent was awkward. I love the park. This campground is great. The site that I stayed at, not so much. I will definitely return.

Campsite's single possible tent space had a bit too much slope. The campground appears to allow any number of people into a site since large parts of the campground resembled a tent city with wall-to-wall tents.

We enjoyed camping at Sunset from 8/27-8/28/21. Definitely going back in the future. The only setback is that there's no shower although there's plenty of water in the camp. Hume Lake is 8 mi. from the site. It's a good lake to take a dip. The camp is close to the Grant Grove visitor center where you can get coffee. And you can capture the sunset at the Sunset Overlook.

They need to get the yellow jackets under control. We got attached by them every time we tried to cook. Other than that it was awesome.
