This is within easy walking distance of Grant Grove Village. The campground itself is large with plenty of space between sites and easily accessible water. Some of the spaces are not level and difficult to negotiate. Any RV over about 25’ may be a challenge. I did not see any hosts nor was the check in building manned. Looks like there is no way to get a spot without a reservation. CG is very clean and well maintained. Lots of deer! Nice central spot within Kings Canyon.

The campgrounds were beautiful, so relaxing, and fun. Everything we might have needed was conveniently close by without feeling like it was close. We were able to walk to Grants Grove easily. Our last day there we walked to the top of the campgrounds and watched the sunset. The view was really something else. The campgrounds were clean and most had shade. The only thing negative I could say about it is that some of the sites are kinda right on top of each other. Not all of them are though.
