We love Hurricane Creek Campground. Its easy to get in and out towing the camper, has nice facilities (washroom, RV dump, beach area, etc) and friendly people.

The campground and site were very nice. We didn't get to enjoy them because of the very windy conditions.

We were camping on site #4 with an amazing view of the lakethe site had a medium grade that may give a trailer longer than 30 problems but once we were down the site site was flat as a pancake. The boathouse was also spotlesscouldnt ask for a more picturesque spot

We have enjoyed our visits in the past, but this year there were tons of mosquitoes at our site. Sitting outside the camper at sunset was not pleasant. I know they have sprayed for them in the past. Not sure what the status was for this year. I know they had budget cuts planned for LBL, so maybe that was an issue. Otherwise, camp host is great! Very personable. Bath house is well maintained.

We love Hurricane Creek CG. The campground is clean and well maintained. We did not use the restroom facilities. The area is beautiful and the people are friendly. We like visiting The Fishin Hole restaurant, which is close by and serves good food when we’re out there.

We enjoy our stays at Hurricane Creek. We live in Cadiz, so it is not far to the campground, but it still feels like a needed outdoors getaway. Sunsets are nice over Lake Barkley. We also like the fact that it is much more affordable, as a corps of engineers park, than the nearby Prizer Point campground. The campground is well maintained. Nice playground area for the kids. Boat ramp is located in the campground. Camp host is very cordial. Close to Cadiz, Eddyville, and Grand Rivers if you are looking for additional things to do.

This is a beautifully designed campground such that, though there are quite a few sites in a relatively small area, they do not seem at all crowded together. The placement of the sites within the topography of the campground area is what makes the ambiance so pleasing. In addition there are two distinct "fingers" of the Barkley Lake ion the edge of the campground so that many of the sites have water views. The most wonderful thing about our stay at Hurricane Creek in early October was observing the flock of white American pelicans stopping over on their way south. It was fascinating to watch how he flock behaved and how they fished in the shallows of the bays.

We have a 30ft RV and stayed on site 4. Very spacious campsite! Had a great view of the lake, especially for sunset. Campground host is very cordial and helpful. Bath house well maintained. We always enjoy our visits here.

Second trip to site 4. Brought 4 grandkids who slept in two tents and plenty of room for our TV and an additional car. Great site for watching the kids at the lake swim area. Mostly shady and a nice breeze off the water. This is a gem for families!

We stayed at site 4 with our 18 foot teardrop and found this to be a quiet and lovely campground. Site was level but a downslope to enter, very large with large picnic and a utility table. View of swim area and 50 yds to lake. We had electric and water. Bath facilities were relatively new and very clean. We are coming back with or grandkids
