The campground had great reviews, the campsite was highly recommended. However we had the most rude and crude people next to us who were up until 1am at least speaking disgustingly and making crude comments. And then just below our campsite by the dock, we were lucky enough to listen to a GROUP of people fornicating (the nice way to put it) repeatedly. Loud enough people on the high end of the campground could hear it. Not once did a camp host confront any of these people nor were they found. Multiple other campers were trying to get them and were unsuccessful. It was a complete waste of time stopping there and a complete waste of money since there was no sleep to be had. Shameful.
We had site A60. It was easy to back our 25' Airstream into. It had a beautiful view of the lake. The sites are close together, but the way the Army Corp of Engineers designed the sites to stagger both horizontally and vertically meant that we didn't feel packed in like sardines. Your camper will sort of give your privacy from the other campers. Bathrooms were older but clean. The park was peaceful on our mid-week stay. The staff was nice upon check-in and everything went well for a relaxing stay. I had enough T-Mobile 5G that I could stream MLB game to our TV. about 2-3 bars. What I hadn't seen in other reviews: You can buy firewood directly on site from a honor-system small general store near check-in for $5.50 per bundle. The "store" also had some local made goods such as pumpkin butter for sale. The road getting to the campground is a little narrow, but nothing to really worry about. It was about 40 minutes from Mammoth Cave which is what we came to see. Our GPS took us there via a road that had a ferry. Be careful not to go that way if you have a trailer hooked up. We didn't have ours when we went to the cave but I'm not sure if there was a turnaround if I had. My wife saw a sign that said the camping proceeds go to fight terrorists, so that's cool. We will be back!

Mobile Data Speed Map
#123
If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
