Clean peaceful and relaxing

We really liked it here. So quiet and peaceful. Camp host super friendly and helpful. Only thing we didn’t like was the dirty bath house that finally got cleaned two days after we arrived. Bring your own toilet paper. We will be back.

We have been to North Fork with our family (multiple campers at multiple camping sites) many times over the past five years. The grounds and bathhouses are well maintained, but in the past, we have not felt welcomed when checking in or out. The individuals who worked at the entrance were rude and very short with us when we had questions, and all our family members agreed that if we had questions or concerns, it was best to not even try approaching the gate for answers. This year, however, a wonderful volunteer is working at the entrance, and she has made ALL the difference in our visits. She is friendly and maintains a positive, welcoming attitude. She also regularly moves around the campground greeting each camper and asking if we need anything or have questions. She also invites us to contact her by phone if we have concerns after hours. Please insure this individual is at the gate each year! She has made all the difference!
