Michigan Valley Campground in Osage County is located 47 min southwest of Lawrence, KS with an elevation of 1,062 feet. There are a total of 80 campsites. The campground is normally open from the beginning of May to the end of October. 77 sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 25 and 114 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. 51 sites have electric and water hookups. 3 sites have electric hookups. Fees range from $14.00 to $60.00. Some amenities include shower, playground, swimming, marina. Activities include boating, fishing, floating sports.

Very nice campsite! Clean, well mowed, showers were very clean with almost no bugs (which is impressive with the amount of junebugs out currently!)

Michigan Valley is a great campground. It is clean and well taken care of. The beach is nice as are the shower houses. I would definitely recommend This camp ground.

The electric power went off three times in one night and one day so we left because we had no power

There were four 50 amp fifth wheels in our group. Arrived on a Friday around 3pm. The electricity went out around 7pm and didnt come back on until five minutes after midnight. The electricity went off again Saturday around 10am, came back on around 3pm and went off again around 5pm. We packed up and left. Thankfully we were 100% refunded for the weekend. Second guessing our decision to come back for Labor Day but everywhere else is booked. We were told this wasnt the first time it happened this summer. Not likely to come back in following years.

Having no WIFI is why I didnt give a 5 star. We had to leave early to get home for a ZOOM appt for my dog and his Dr because we had no service. We couldnt watch TV nor use use hot spot.

The electricity would not stay on all weekend! We had family that had to go home because of the heat. I had to take my dogs home while we are on the boat because we had no AC for them in the camper.

Very clean park. It had been raining alot and there was water standing around the electric box, just needs some more gravel filled in so that it would run off.

Everything was well kept and clean. The only problem is the cell service. No cell service. Why cant the corps provide some sort of WiFi service when the cell service doesnt exist

Quiet Park with clean restrooms and showers. Nice swim beach with lifejackets available. Cell reception was bad for TMoblie.

The site was great, host were helpful, and restrooms/showers were clean! Beach was very clean. Only downfall, which I am assuming is due to the time of year, is that there were SWARMS of bugs. Not biting ones, thank goodness, but we couldn't even be outside one of the evenings due to them
