We had had a fantastic one night stay. Great campsite with beautiful views. Could only secure one night on short notice but it was worth it. Very busy campground so book early.

Very special place to stay. The rocks are so jumbo that we can do hike on them and have nice view. We adore our staying.

Invaded by bees and had to leave early - I took some pics and video if you want to see

The sites were small but doable. It's a beautiful location for a short stay since there's no water and pit toilets only.

Great Campground. Heat was extreme unfortunately, so we only stayed the night, arrived late and left before 9 am.

Jumbo Rocks is wonderful- this particular site is ADA Accessible and is right next to the pit toilets so theres a little more ease but also more traffic. Its nice and private though. Almost any site in Jumbo rocks is good.

Astonishing as always, each visit you find new trails and new things to do, being coming for years and every time kids keep telling it's their favorite place to be, strongly recommend Jumbo Rock if you have children, the place will keep them busy all the time.

Jumbo Rocks is such a gorgeous campground, we had awesome private sites all three nights. It is centrally located so you can visit all areas of the park! Nearby attractions like Skull Rock get overly crowded, and sunset and sunrise are beautiful from the rocks. Not much staff on site, so we only ended up doing a formal check-in one of the nights.

Great campsite, easy to get at your website, our name was on the list at the entrance, no need to check in with a ranger or host. Campground was clean, with lots of areas to climb on rocks.

Our family had an amazing time scrambling on the rocks just by our campsite. Definitely recommend!

Love this place and will come again. Hated campsite 122, a few feet from the bathroom, so we got the smells and traffic.

Great site. however, upon arrival I didn't realize it was marked for Handicapped. The park service was in and out on several occasions and never said anything, so I assumed it was still permissible to camp there even though I am not handicapped.

Great site. Deep with boulder formation down each side. there is a rest room right at the entrance making it very convenient.

Wonderful weekend in beautiful setting. We did some short hikes, enjoyed the sunsets and moon risIngs! The Joshua Trees were in bloom, so that was special! We had perfect weather, until last night, the wind howled all night! Thankfully the staked tents held up well! We were in a perfect site, brought and had plenty of water. Restrooms were clean and sticked. The campground hosts were helpful, friendly, and kind. We are eager to camp there again soon!

Steven and Lynn were fabulous hosts and helped re-locate to more suitable site. They are a wealth of knowledge about the park and it was great to get their guidance.Thank you Steve and Lynn

The campground itself was very cool. Loved the rock formations. We had made an online reservation with recreation.gov. When we arrived at the site after dark someone else had take our site. It was very confusing because we could not find a host to help us with the situation. Ultimately we found a list at the message board at the entrance to the site. We could see our reservation listed. We could also see that there was one other site that was available. We told the people that were in our site that they could stay there and we would take the other site. Hopefully they really did pay for the site that we had originally reserved. This same thing happened to us at another campground is Joshua Tree. It all worked out for us in the end but there are people who are not following the rules.

Stayed in space #122 with 2 boys ages 5 & 7. It was amazing. The boys woke up every morning and began climbing less the 10 feet from our tent. The nights felt like we were out by ourselves and adventure was around every boulder. We can’t wait to come back.

This is a lovely campground and it is great to be among the rocks. They provide a measure of privacy and a nice way to get up over the campground to see the sunrise or sunset. The facilities were well maintained and the spots we had were both very nice. My minimal complaint is that there were people with generators that ran them in the evening. That was annoying but they did stop using them at a reasonable hour. The campground is conveniently located and well maintained. I wish there were RV dump facilities and fresh water near this end of the park.
