Beautiful campground. It was wonderful to use it as a base camp to hike to Skull and Split rocks

Gorgeous campsite. Easy to book. Great central location to so many top hikes and places to view the sunrise and sunset.

This campground was super beautiful! We loved our site 119. The large boulders gave us a sense of privacy and it was pretty spacious. Some of the sites seemed like they were really small and kind of squished on to the access road, but all should have space to pull up. It's close to popular hikes in the area like Skull rock. Beware it gets hot quick in the morning, especially if you're positioned in the sun, so if you're in a tent think about positioning yourself in the shade when morning comes. We got our firewood before entering the national park. Using Tmoblie theres no service once you near the park. There's no running water or flush toilets so come prepared! Also just a heads up the ground was pretty hard and rocky so we couldn't get the stakes all the way in.

Jumbo Rocks is a magical place to watch the sunrise and sunset. Camping facilities were basic as stated in park information. Picnic table and fire ring at each site and very clean pit toilets. Good positioning of garbage receptacles throughout campground. Great hiking from campground to Skull Rock and Discovery trail. A few minutes to drive to other hikes. Would recommend definitely for 2 night stay minimum if you can. Remember you need to be self sufficient including water!

Remember to bring a seperate trashbag for each day of stay so you can throw one bag away at the end of the day and dont need to worry about trash smell in your car. the back of the campsite can be windy so be sure to have enough tie downs to keep your tent tight.

too far away to picnic table

Great site, only issue was all campground bathrooms had bees roaming around. Some bathrooms were worse than others.

Beautiful location to stargaze and enjoy the scenery. The area wasnt very crowded and the campsites are far enough apart to be semi-private. I would definitely look at the campsite map before booking to make sure you wont be on the road if youre camping with little ones. Ill absolutely be back in the future!!

Great Campground! Love scrambling on all the rocks!! Especially to catch the sunsets! Centrally located, trails from the campground and a short drive to others. Camp Host’s were super friendly and available if needed. Bathrooms are pit toilets but not bad & were kept clean & stocked with t.p.

This campground was incredible! We loved how secluded we felt thanks to the huge boulders separating many of the campsites. We were lucky to get a fairly large site, but many of them barely had room for a tent, so look carefully at the pictures before you book. Our kids had a blast climbing and exploring right from the campsite and it was also close to many of the main attractions in the park.

The sites are quite close together but the rock nooks and crannies offer a lot of privacy. There’s a nice hike right from the campground.

Best trip ever! Jumbo rocks is like a mini city of amazing people every time I go. Thanks National Parks and a big THANK YOU to all the park rangers who make the time in the park extra special.

This campground is gorgeous, had plenty of space and social distancing was practiced. We loved every minute and can’t wait to return!!

Beautiful campground which is very well maintained by the Park Service. The campground hosts were attentive, courteous and helpful. There is an abundance of rocks to scramble on or if you have the gear, climb. Skull Rock is close. Traffic is less than sites closer to the entrance due to distance and reservation requirements - you don't have cars driving through all day looking for a campsite. Will definitely go back again. 5 star campground.

Camping location was amazing. You can see the stars! Quiet location, no noise at night. Very windy at night (wind advisory) so I did not get to make a campfire. Clean bathrooms. Highly recommend this location for camping and for astrophotography.
