Stayed at site 115. It was nice and wide open. I will say you do feel close to your neighbors time to time as you could hear their conversations, but it was not a problem for me. 114 and 116 are close by. It was nice being against the rocks and being able to trail out from the site. Would stay here again!

Really neat campground, right in the center of the park and close to many good hikes. Walked to Skull Rock, Face Rock, and Split Rock all from the campsite. Some campsites are very close to each other, but everyone was respectful and noise was not a problem.

Good site, amazing star watching but each site is REALLY close together so not a ton of privacy from your camp neighbors. Also, the chipmunks are insanely aggressive...like, you turn your back for a minute and they're in your cooler, eating holes in your bags, etc.

Decently spaced sites, all unique. Tons of rocks and places to explore in & right around the campground. Be cautious with trash. We saw a coyote sniffing around our neighbors site because they didnt throw away their trash during a hike!

We hiked, climbed boulders, watched an incredible sunset, grilled sausages, roasted marshmallows, watched the most spectacular night sky, and left feeling fulfilled and in awe. Our favorite place!

Fellow campers were partying and being super loud both nights until 3 am. Totally unacceptable no one is there to stop them.

An amazing place to get lost and find yourself. The world needs to find itself and places like JT are where the journey begins.

Word of advice from a seasoned camper for this site: Keep a close eye on the weather and expect WIND. I booked months in advance to get a site which I thought would be sheltered from the wind as it was nestled into the boulders. We couldn't do anything due to the wind. It was a rough night, punctuated by the wind beating the hell out of our tent. We couldn't have a safe fire, we couldnt BBQ efficiently, and we couldn't keep our personal belongings in one place. Our chairs blew into our fire, our tents were beaten and ripped, and we had to cook breakfast in a cave. The desert is brutal during the winter months due to high winds. It's been the same every year for three years running. DO NOT ATTEMPT to camp here unless it is the lowest wind part of the year, otherwise you will regret it. Beautiful place and high quality facilities and services but.... the WIND~~~~~~>!

Bring a camera! One of the most scenic spots in Joshua Tree. Amazing wind carved rock structures that are perfect for anyone in the family to hop along or if you're looking for a real climb you can talk a quick walk over to the bigger rocks. Relaxed desert environment with stunning views, colorful and vibrant sunsets, and the clearest view of the stars you can ever hope for.

The campground was beautiful. Only marred by the proximity to other camp sites and their noise level

It was warm, enough space, trails close-by. Nothing to complain about

Love Jumbo Rocks! The site I was in was awefully close to a couple of others, but fortunately one of them was empty, so it wasn't too bad. I've been at sites 115 and 110, and neither disappointed!

The camp itself is amazing but place 115 was a little bit uncomfortable because it is located in between 116 and 114 and very close to other places. Be sure that you checked parking in your place because some has 2 parking spots and 115 has only one.

Jumbo rocks is an amazing camp site! Being able to scramble around on boulders and catch sunrise and sunset from up high was a wonderful experience.

I only wish people would respect the quiet after 10pm rule, as many are early risers for hiking and exploring. It would be nice if rangers rolled through to monitor, but I’m sure resources are right these days.

Nice and easily accessible location, jumbo rocks provide some shade and brush around provides some privacy. There are over 100 campsites which means many of them are very close to each other. Stayed in #115 last time and had to walk through 2 other nearby campsites when leaving to use the restroom and whatnot. While being there a park ranger came by on our day of arrival and informed us of the bee activity. Told us not to leave open containers with water or other liquids, bees are thirsty and will get to it. There are critters around so make sure you secure your food when you leave to explore, to protect the critters. Overall great and clean location, bathrooms were cleaned daily.
