Great spot. Some traffic at dusk as it's right off the main road, but loved the privacy and space. Perfect for a Sprinter Van 144.

Great spot. Very spacious campsite. Near the bathroom. Only downside of it, there's only one bathroom on that side, so a line would often form.

Bathrooms were clean and we were happy to see a young woman ranger taking care of guests complaining about two visitors who kept them up all night

What a great location - stunning to be set in amongst the rock piles of Joshua Tree, and the sunset/sunrise are really beautiful. Several toilets, all in good condition. Really quiet overnight (if a little chilly in late November!).Really glad we managed to snag one of the last spots here.

The campground is very scenic. We had difficulty finding the route to the Skull Rock Nature Trail trailhead - the departure from the campground is difficult to locate - more signs and trail markings are needed. The vault toilets were very clean and well maintained.

We had a wonderful time. Joshua tree never disappoints with wonderful hiking, rock scrambling and beautiful weather in November. We try to camp there every year or two.

Great campground, friendly campers, it was quiet and clean. They no longer recycle propane tanks here so that's unfortunate but otherwise no complaints!

Great time at Jumbo Rocks Campground at the end of June. Campsite 111 was bigger than we thought it would be and even had some shade in the afternoon. Great bouldering rocks for the kids all around. Just know going in about the pit toilets and no running water nearby.

Its a lovely campsite nicely situated in the park! My only true complaint is that our firewood was all stolen from our campsite in the middle of the day, halfway through our stay and the thief left trash behind.Toilets were in great shape and trash receptacles were super convenient.

The place is pretty amazing unfortunately the people that visit are not. If you want to be kept up all night by 45 year old frat boys this is the place for you. Most of the campsites are super small and right on top of each other. It was so bad I left in the middle of the night and drove the 2 hours home.

Jumbo Rocks is a great place to explore and hike around. Its well situated to drive to their parts of the park for other hikes or sights. The camping sites can be quite small or tight so really check out the photos, knowing what kind of gear you have - a tent, a van, an RV.

Great camp site, beautiful rock formations, sunsets, quiet. We had a wonderful experience.

Great place to camp. Spot 111 was a nice size for a medium tent with level ground. Would stay there again.
