For such a large campground, it was clean, relatively quiet, every site seemed to have a great view and the trails that started in the campground were great!

Came with 3 kids, who lived climbing the boulders. We were next to the Skull rock trail.

Spot 89 was great! There is a large parking pad that is parallel to the campsite, which accommodated our truck and 23 foot trailer with extra space to spare. You have plenty of privacy from your neighbor in spot 88, and there are 2-3 areas that you could pitch a medium/large tent. This spot backs up directly to some of the jumbo rock formations which were great for amateur climbing.

Beautiful campground with amazing views. Loved the large boulders! Multiple sites nearby to explore. We were disappointed that Geology Road did not have any markers with written descriptions or trail guides. But overall we have a wonderful time.

The night skies are fabulous, great location but very tight if you have a slideout.

Great campsites surrounded by rocks where you have a privacy and you can jump around

Absolutely unreal. So beautiful and in the middle of the park. I almost didn't drive back to stay but then decided to and boy was I happy not only for the amazing safe and private feeling campground, but the amazing sunrise I got to chase all around there. The giant rocks made you really feel like you were staying in Joshua Tree. My favorite campground to date and I'm an avid camper.

Although we're not a fan of street-pull-in campsites, the park has done a fabulous job of preserving the rock formations to fit campsites. Very clean and well maintained. Amazing how many campgrounds are in the park. We'll go again and stay longer.

Excellent location. I did not see anyone with problems trying to park RV. Size matters, so don’t try to squeeze in with RV not appropriate for size of spot. Great hikes from campsite.

Great campground in pictorial boulders. Facilities are great and clean, each space is unique. We love it!

Campground was great, very easy to get to and held a lot of people without feeling crowded. Campsite was clean with a fire pit, large tent site, small tent site, and picnic table. Got a bit windy at night in late February.

Stunning campground. It may be the largest of the sites but didn’t feel like it at all. Plenty of space. The rocks are gorgeous especially at sunrise. Also centrally located in the park. Highly recommend.
