We did not realize campers and vehicles all park along the road parallel to your camp spot. Definitely pay attention to the length allotted for each site as we barely fit in ours. Also our neighbors were parked across the line when we arrived making our spot appear much smaller than we thought. They moved and were very nice about it.

Beautiful campground. I work remotely and the generator hours were restrictive.

The campsite was large and private, with outstanding views. Many trails are accessible from this campsite. The toilet was alway clean and well stocked with TP. We will be back!

Good site right by some rocks to go climb around on, but very close to the next site (firepits are separated by some shrubs and about 30 feet.) Driveway was also eroding into the wash, but there was plenty of safe room for my camper van.

Jumbo Rocks was a great campground! There are many hiking paths in the area, but the kids enjoyed wandering around the rock formations the best. The sites are grouped in sets of 3 or more, making it a perfect place for friends or family to camp together. There was a foul smell from the vault toilet that the wind blew in our direction. I will choose a site downwind if I ever go again.

Jumbo Rocks is such a cute campground! The bathroom was well stocked with toilet paper and spray cleaner for the seat. My camp site was the perfect size for two people in a larger tent. We had a good distance from our neighbors which kept things nice and quiet. Being deeper in the park meant no cell reception, but the night sky was incredible as there was less light pollution. Great piles of rocks to scramble around on during the day and a very friendly ranger/camp host to help with any questions!

Do not choose site 85 at jumbo rocks, it is downwind of the restrooms and very strong.

The campground is really nice! Trails, jumbo rocks to climb, and fun hiking in every direction. The weather was perfect in October!

Great location with easy exploring access. Caught some beautiful sunsets among the large rocks and saw some crazy wildlife. Dont mind the spiders they keep to themselves. Bathrooms were clean and didnt deal with rowdy folks. Would highly recommend!

Everything great, unfortunately no sun-downer spot!

We stayed 3 nights on pitch 86 and couldn't have had a better time. It was an easy site for our rig to get into, it sloped backwards to some degree but nothing that our blocks and chocks couldn't handle. The campsite is right in the middle of the Jumbo rocks area and very easy to get to all of the National Parks sites, walks and outdoors. Would definitely come back again. The West End Mine and Barker dam walks just fter dawn were the highlights of our stay.

It's a beautiful campground. Our first sight had a dangerous step down from erosion. That was my only complaint.

We enjoyed our stay at Joshua Tree National Park. Great location beside the jumbo rocks! We liked the size of the campsite. It's a good size with some bushes between the sites. Nice that it has a picnic table, fire pit and bbq area. The roads were fairly narrow but the pull thru set up made up for that. Lots of places to explore around the campground.

if there is a cancellation of the site, it should show for other people.

We stayed in campsite #85 with our 22’ trailer great site pretty private. Probably the best pit toilets I’ve seen. Clean campground

Scenery was awesome but there is no off-road parking while camping. All parking is on the street right at your campsite and there are cars/rv's constantly coming by. We could not use our slide-out for our small travel trailer because of this. Also, dogs are not allowed on any trails. Not even on a leash.

The lack of ambient light at night made for some AMAZING night photography opportunities. The campsite was clean and flat. The website made it an easy booking even at the last minute. And the park is beautiful.

We had a change of plans for travels and tried to cancel our 1 night stay in Joshua Tree. Your site didn't allow that and we lost our $20. This makes one not want to plan ahead if you can't get your money back, especially since I tried to cancel two weeks before the actual trip. If it was within 3 days, I understand, not refund (which many RV campgrounds enforce too). I think you can do better.

We ended up staying in the next site over due to a multi day booker who kindly asked that we move given that we would be there one night. Not far from the drop toilets though just FYI. Clean site with incredible views. Saw one rattlesnake on the way to the bathroom and heard the coyotes in the late evening. Overall great, albeit warm stay!

Our second time camping here, and the experience was awesome. One day it snowed on us (middle of March), which was very cool, but the snow was completely gone the next day. Did some great hikes straight from the campground. Overall, we love this place. No running water, no showers or flushing toilets, so plan ahead.

Great location. You can hike directly from each camp site without driving. Just booked another stay.
