Fantastic campground. I stayed 6 nights in site 84. I have a 25' travel trailer and tow vehicle. We fit nicely in this space. It's also a solo space, vs most sites where you share pavement with 2-3 other RV's or tenters. Bring all your food, water, and camping gear because driving to Yucca Valley or Twentynine Palms takes time. From your campsite, you can hike all around the rocks and explore the area. Keep in mind that other campers walk through your site so there's not a lot of privacy and the sites are close together. It's very crowded. But, staying in the national park saves so much time because you don't need to drive far.

Jumbo rock was an amazing and beautiful experience for me, I fell in love with the landscape and the ecosystem, the campground was beautifully maintained and very clean. Me and my boyfriend enjoyed every moment together, we enjoyed the sunset and moon rise. I could not be anymore grateful and thankful for such an experience, thank you jumbo rock!!

Jumbo Rocks CG is awesome! First time back in 53 years and just as exciting to climb a Jumbo Rockpile to see the views.Other campers were friendly and all seemed to be enjoying the simplicity of the Park. Except for the ones who built a blazing campfire in the neighboring loop in dry times like these, all were respectful of the parks rules and nature. If youve never been GO NOW! Enjoy the privilege of having such a wonderful, special place, protected by those before us with the wisdom and foresight to recognize what National Parks would mean to the children and families of the future. You cannot put a price on human experiences like this.

Jumbo Rocks is an excellent camp ground and well worth staying a couple of nights. From the amazing rock formations literally in your campsite, to the colourful sunrises and sunsets, its an amazing place.

The desert day time was hot though, mid-night time was very cold, please do bring something cover yourself even in the tent. Over all, it was a very nice experience there, my two daughters love there so much. We will definitely go again next time. The campground was clean and well maintained.

Site 084 was large and private. We were able to park a 30’ trailer and truck fairly easily. While there were people on both sides of our site, it was super private and felt like we had the place to ourselves. There was plenty of exploring for the kids right in the site, and the trail to Skull Rock was just a short walk from our trailer. Overall, highly recommend.

Stayed at site #84 and was a perfect site. Bathrooms across the street. Big flat area for a large tent. Had lots of rocks right behind us to explore with trails going all over. Highly recommend this site if you need space for a large tent. We had an 6 person tent but could easily have fit another tent as well. Also had a large space for parking.

It was important to reserve in advance to get this prime site and to observe whether the site was long enough for our rig. Site 84 fit the bill. And the site opens to a marvelous field of boulders to explore. It’s really one of the best sites at Jumbo Rocks.

Great trip out to JTree. The site at Jumbo Rocks was large. Bathroom was a short walk away. Jumbo Rocks was very crowded, but quiet enough at night and in the morning to sleep. My only complaint was that the signage for the site number was hard to see at night in the dark when I arrived.Definitely recommend the short hikes and climbs/rock scrambles nearby in this part of the park!

We really enjoyed our stay at Jumbo Rocks,. The campground was very nice. One thing to be aware of is the spaces are rather small, we were not able to put our slide-out all the way out without it being in the road. No problem but just something to be aware of if you have a RV. Wish we could have stayed more than one night!
