We only stayed one night, on our way to the Grand Canyon. We loved this campground and plan to return. We stayed in our motorhome so we did not use the facilities, however, we looked inside the restrooms and they were very clean.

My visit was short but enjoyable. I set up camp Friday night at Jumbo Rocks and Saturday rode my mountain bike to Dessert Queen Mine and hiked a short way in, got some cool pictures all through the short weekend.

The camp host was a pleasure to encounter, as well as the rangers at the gate entry.

Thank you!

Amazing campground. Other campers were respectful of quiet hours and keeping to themselves. Celebrated our sons 4th birthday there and he absolutely loved it. Definitely recommend.

On a tour of 8 National Parks/Monuments/Recreation Areas, Jumbo Rocks stood out as our favorite campground. The setting is so unique and special, and the sunsets and stars are amazing. One needs to be prepared for this campground, as there is absolutely no water available, but if properly prepared, you will be richly rewarded. If we had one complaint about the campground it would be that we found that cars tended to drive too fast more frequently in this campground than in most of the others.

This campground is beautiful and conveniently situated. As the name implies, there are lots of rocks to climb on and explore.
