This was a great site a bit more secluded then the other ones which was nice!

The campsite was beautiful, its split in the back between 68/69 and is a shared space. The bathroom is around the corner, but not right in the campsite which was fantastic. Perfect for a night in Joshua Tree!

Sites #68 and #69 great if youre a group. If not, As others have mentioned sites are pretty closely set. We were nervous but excited to hear coyotes yelp and howl at night, and even spotted one by our site in the day. Great location next to skull rock trail and also backed away from the street so not as crowded and as many visitors walking through the area. Site #69 is set against some boulders where we set up some camp chairs to view the pristine night sky. During the day youd definitely benefit from a shade tent as there is little natural shade. Wouldnt hesitate to camp here again!

Fantastic campground. Easy hike to skull rock, as well as a few other nice and easy loops in the central area of the park. No water at the campground, so be sure to pack enough to cover your trip. Also worth noting that the rocks surrounding many of the campsites do obscure the sunset - so if you're camping in the winter season, it will get colder earlier in the evening than it would at a site like cottonwood. But well worth it for the beautiful rock structures!

Lots of great exploring, although some sites are a bit tight.

The site was beautiful and relatively secluded in the campground along some of the jumbo rocks. We stayed for three days, mid-week in January and got to enjoy warm days and chilly nights under a clear night sky. The site was also against the open desert which we got to wander in easily.

Not the cleanest pit toilets but a great campground.

People playing loud music from 10pm until 3 a spoiled a perfect trip.

Dry park, not just a dry camp. Be prepared. Sites are REALLY close together, expect to get to know your neighbors. People loud after 2200, no ranger making the rounds. 1 camp site close by still in party mode at 0100. Great NP, amazing things to see and do.

Such a cool campground nestled in the rocks. The sites are close together so don't expect too much privacy. A great central location in the park and not too far from anything.

Cell reception nearly nonexistent. Do your homework and plan hikes ahead of time.
