Beautiful, unique, natural place. Very, very dark. Better find your campsite before dark. Road is narrow and winds among large rock outcroppings. All vehicles and campers, RVs, parallel park along the road. " Campsites" are only for table, fire ring and grill, and if you have a tent. No washrooms, only pit toilets. Come prepared for darkness and lack of wash facilities. Fabulous nature experience!!

Stunning place. The site we stayed on was in the open (no rocks behind us).Next time we go we will make sure were not in the open.Theres a town about 15 minutes away where you can get groceries. Not recommended the restaurant though.Great location to lots of hiking spots!

Site #61 is labeled as will fit two cars - maybe two Smart cars but nothing bigger. We left aster one night and moved to Hidden Valley CG.

We camped at campsite 61 and it was very nice. The only complaint was that when the wind blew a certain direction, we got whiffs of the vault toilet. But it wasnt bad so would not be reason to not camp here. Beautiful campsite!

Jumbo Rocks CG was one of the most scenic campsites due to huge rock formations and great sunrise and sunset locations.

Location was beautiful. RV space was very unlevel. Camper next door played his stereo at full blast for hours so the noise pollution was way too high.

Cool places near to the large rocks. Some places are better/more cosy than others. Our place was decent but a bit to small for an RV (25ft) and is was a bit too sloped.

I stayed at site# 061, which was very spacious and had a good amount of space from other campsites. The bad news is that it had almost zero shade, so would not recommend for Summer camping. The location of the campground is outstanding and there are many climbing rocks nearby for all skill levels. You can also easily hike to Skull Rock or make your own hiking trail into the surrounding desert.

Een heel erg mooie camping. Super genoten hier midden in de natuur. Heel erg mooie sterrenhemel. Je moet hier absoluut ook gaan wandelen.

Always love a stop at jumbo rocks either to spend time in the park exploring or sometimes passing through to other destinations.

Beautiful, big and quiet campground. Clean odor free outhouses. Lots of places to explore and close to rockclimbing sites.

Absolutely Beautiful. It was plenty chilly but we were prepared for that. Everything was really well maintained. Thank you

Fabulous experience. Small teardrop camper and Jeep Gladiator truck fit "just right" in spot #61. The stars were spectacular. Could not have asked for a better time. Will be back!

Great campground, although dry. Pit toilets well maintained. The Skull Rock trail begins in the campground and is a nice, short hike (which can be connected to the Split Rock trail for a longer distance).

Great stay at campsite #60. I was apprehensive because the site is in middle of one of the circles instead of up against the rocks. So it was a pleasant surprise. You park horizontally to the site, along the side of the road. The site itself is large and private, with a nice 360 view of the jumbo rocks around us. And we enjoyed our morning scramble to the top of the boulders to watch sunrise in the morning. In warmer weather this site would not have any shade, but in early February no shade was not a problem.

We love Jumbo Rocks, the hiking is great and the campground is beautiful. We even took a short drive to The Hall of Horrors about 10 minutes away for extra fun!

Fun area to explore immediately surrounding the campgrounds. Campsites were very close to each other and pit toilets need a good scrubbing. Campground is very centrally located and close to many awesome hikes nearby.
