Site said could fit RV but would not accommodate my 12 foot tear drop and my telluride

Beautiful campground. Minor grievances with tent spot on site 60 being too close to the fire pit. Decent privacy despite the spots being small and tightly packed together

We stayed in Jumbo rocks campground. The area was beautiful. Lots of outcroppings of rocks to hike around. We even had a coyote in the rocks above us. Disappointed the Cholla garden was closed. For a $30 park entrance fee they really need to upgrade the bathroom situation and have at least one water access point near the campsites. If you need water you must drive 1 hour back to visitors center

We were there in the off-season. So it was just a couple of spots occupied in the camp.

Beautiful campground. It was a privilege to be able to camp inside Joshua Tree NP.

Great site in a central location. We even had a bobcat stroll through the site at dusk. Wild!

Best campsite ever been to! Nothing complained about, just pure gorgeousness. The fire ring even has a grill grate that can be flipped to use for barbeque when burning woods.

The maintenance team for this campground appears to keep it quite clean, including the bathrooms. Nice work!

Campsite 60 is right next to a big boulder. I went with my girlfriend on Christmas Eve. The next campsite is relatively close to your campsite but we were lucky our campers were quiet and friendly. The restroom is located a couple hundred feet to the right side of our campsite which was nice because it wasnt too close as well. Skull rock trail was right outside out camping circle so that is also a must-see attraction at jumbo rocks.

Even though this must have been the one time it ever rained in Joshua Tree it was the best experience!!! I am amazed at how the Jumbo rocks campground was designed to perfectly fit nature. Loved it!

Very fun and beautiful campground. We stayed on a Friday night and there were lots of people staying; it was kinda loud so thats why it was 4 stars.

Not far at all from restrooms. The rock wall lit up nicely with our fire. Couldn't exactly find distinctive trailheads but there are plenty of easy rocks to climb around the site.

Gorgeous campground. Camped solo in site 60 and it was a great location, with a large rock on one side, expanse behind, and the site next to me close enough that I could hear their conversation clearly, but they weren't on top of my site. Lots of opportunity to scramble and catch sunset. Come at new moon to see an amazing dark sky. I would camp here again, both at the campground and at the site. Note you have to bring your own water.
